farewell, Broke Ass God

"You call that cooperation between harbingers?!" you hear a sulking voice upon entering Northland Bank, it was Childe. 

You see some other people standing there, Zhongli and a tall lady. Lumine upon seeing entered a defensive stance, you do the same.

"Wait Zhongli?!" Paimon said what was all your minds. "What are doing here?" Lumine wairly asks the taller lady. 

"Oh, it's you! If I remember correctly, the last we met it was in the city of bards, was it not?" she chuckles and walks over to you. She grabs you face in similar way she did to Venti - somewhat gently clutching your chin and examining it for any flaws, not that you really had that many to begin with. "oh my, I haven't see you before, perhaps is she your lover, traveler?" you blush and remove her hand from you face, she steps back and walks back to Zhongli and Childe, dismissing Lumine's glares.

Signora extends a hand as if asking for something, "the contract Zhongli, if you would be so kind, please, give us the Gnosis," Zhongli does so and gives to her. She briefly examines it before putting it away, the warm yellow glow of the chess piece shaped Gnosis illuminates bits of her face.

"Contract?" the three of you say. Zhongli let's out a chuckle and explains everything.

RITE OF PARTING.

As Ningguang gave out her speech she looked at you direction. "She looking our way?" Paimon whispered into your ear, Ningguang looks at you and Lumine and gives you two a smile, "yikes! She really is looking our way!" 

The crowd turns there head to look at your group, whisphers could be heard, "did they really defeat the ancient god?", "so young..."  and other comments of similar caliber could be heard before the crowd erupted into cheers and clapping.

"The Liyue Qixing always repay their debts. And as you have heard, our eyes see far and our reach is long" Keqing begins "name your price. You deserve that much."
You look at Lumine she nods and you nod back. "Can you help put up some missing person posters?" she asks in sweet voice, Keqing was taken a bit aback as he expected Lumine would want many or something similar but she obliged, nevertheless. "Do you want anything else?" she asks you specifically, you try to think of something but shake your head. She nods and walks away.

As you put up the posters with Lumine and Paimon you notice Zhongli standing mind his own business seeming pleased with himself.
How can someone be pleased with themselves after abandoning their people?                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               "And here you are looking all... Relaxed!" Paimon goes in for the attack but Zhongli tries to make it up by taking you out to dinner, but that ended up in Paimon calling a parasite that leeches of people's money.
"We should continue our search for the Seven," you say, Lumine agrees but Zhongli shuts down the idea, "continuing your journey will be quite difficult as the electro archon's Nation, Inazuma is currently closed," 
"Who is the archon?" Lumine ponders
"Baal, but she goes by another name by her people, the Raiden Shogun." Hearing their name sent shivers down your spine. 

"Why is the nation closed?" you ask, 
"Visions. The Raiden Shogun is seizing them through the Vision Hunt Decree in order gain eternity. "
"Wouldn't that effect the bearers of the visions? Aren't they blessings from the Gods?" Lumine questions. 
"Yes, it would. I think that in the eyes of the Raiden Shogun, the fact that they are divine blessings they should be under the sole dominion of divinity."
Damn, that's harsh.
Zhongli continues, "The Raiden Shogun is the God of Eternity. It seems she has for once decided to eliminate any unstable elements that could pose a threat to her realm of eternity. Because of my so called passing the would only further strengthen her resolve to gain eternity. Knowing her she must have quoted 'Seven ideals for seven gods, and of these, Eternity is nearest unto the Heavenly Principle'".
"Is there anything else you want to ask me?"
You all shake you head,  "Well then, I suppose you'll have to find a way to get inside this closed nation. Have patience... I suspect that some serendipity must first come into play..." The Ex-Geo Archon bids farewell on your journey.
"Lumine," you say, she turns her head to you, 
"Yes?"
"Could we stay here a bit longer?"
She gives you sweet smile, 
"Sure"
