Dawn Winery

I finally uploaded the new chapter! I'm losing motivation so quickly, but I got around another 7 chapters ready, I  just need to transfer them here. 

Right now, I was at heading to Dawn Winery with Diluc by my side.

A few weeks have passed here in Mondstadt and I got myself a job, I didn't feel right to depend on Lumine to get money. I'm not used to depending on people and vice versa.

Where? At Dawn Winery, of course. (Ngl I would join bc of Diluc.)

Flashback!

"Diluc!" You walked over to the red-head, hoping to ask the male something.

"Hmm?" Once he saw your face, he flashed me a small smile.

"Cute" You contemplated his face.

"Ahem" You cleared your throat. "I need a job, and I was hoping I could work at Dawn Winery".

"That's fine, I was just going now. Adelinde and the others would be pleased to see a new face."

You nodded.

"Adelinde this is Y/N, Y/N this is Adelinde, she is the head housemaid." Diluc introduced. "Hello, nice to meet you." The young woman said. "Y/N will be working here from now on, starting tomorrow. If you don't mind, could you show her around. I've got things to do" Diluc adjusted is gloves and Adelinde nodded in response.

She grabbed my hand gently and took me indoors.

"Woah!" I let out a slight gasp of surprise. The place was elegant, what I first saw was a grand looking table with 5 chairs that was on top of a red carpet. On the left side of the table there was a staircase. On top of it, there were a pair of maids. Once they noticed me, they came down the stairs. Then they started asking a bunch of questions. You couldn't understand a thing, it was a bit overwhelming.

"Girls! Get back to work!" Adelinde dismissed the 2, the sudden change of tone surprised me. "If you want, can wander around to familiarize yourself. Your uniform is on the chair by the fireplace over there." Adelinde pointed towards the location she indicated.

You wandered over towards the owl statue, it read: "O watcher of the night, forget not the splendor of the dawn." "O ye who contend with evildoers, sway not from the path of righteousness." You went over to where the other two girls were. They were sitting on a couch next to each other, discussing something. They noticed you and their eyes lit up. "Hey, sit over here!" The one with short brown hair shuffled to make space between them, so you could sit down. 

The other one with long blonde hair introduced herself as Hillie and her friend was called Moco. "What's yours" Hillie asked. "Y/N" you replied. "Aww~ I love your name." "Thanks." You gave her a small smile. "You're working here, right?"Moco asked. You nodded, "Why don't you put on?" Moco queried, "Okay then, hold on!" You left the other girls and took the uniform from the chair by the fireplace. 

You changed in a room upstairs. Then went downstairs to meet the girls again. They started showering you with complements, making you blush slightly.

Well then let's start work! They showed how things worked in the winery. Working there was a bliss, the friends you made there were better than you had in your world, if you could even call them that.

After work ☆*: .｡. o(≧▽≦)o .｡.:*☆

It was quite late.

You went over to Angel's share, Venti and Lumine, along with Kaeya and, a nun? Were there. "Over here!" Paimon had to shout over the drunkards yelling, especially the trio Venti, Kaeya and the nun.

You pushed your way through the crowd to get to them. "So, how was your first day of work?" Lumine asked. "Good, wait... how'd you know?!" you asked surprised, you were going to her later yourself. "Simple, Diluc told me." the blondette replied calmly. "Oh...". "Anyways why did you get a job? You know you could rely on me." Lumine gave me a slight frown, you noticed it. So you responded: "I don't feel comfortable relying on people." It was the truth. "Are your co-workers treating you well?" Paimon asked, "Yes"

The Next Day ~(๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧

You were heading to Good Hunter for some breakfast, you ordered some hash browns and sat down. In a few minutes, the hash browns were ready, the food was steaming hot and obviously mouth-watering. Sara never disappoints.

"Hey!" A voice behind you called out, provoking you to choke on the hash brown. *Incoherent coughing* "Ah! I'm sorry!" She hit your back repeated and finally the food returned to your gullet. You immediately took a big breath of air.

"Anyways, you wanted something from me?"you queried.

"Yes, Jean needs to see you."

"Okay, I'll go there after I finish eating."

She offered to walk with you when you finished, you agreed.

Amber dropped you off and Jean was waiting for you at her desk. Taking a deep breath, you sat down on the chair in front of her.

"I have a question" You gulped. "Would you like to join the knights?"

"I uh... Can't fight."

"Don't worry, we'll train you, tell me your option tomorrow.
