"So it seems you are quite fond of her." The dragon spoke. (Can he speak? Whatever, he can in this fanfic.

"I'm not fond of her, I'm in love with her. And I plan to sing her a song.

" Oh, is that true? May I hear it?"Dvalin asked.

"Sure, here goes." I agreed.

Lumine Pov!

Somewhere in a hilichurl camp...

Today Y/n was feeling quite happy for some reason, don't get me wrong I do want her to be happy. Every time I asked why she was quite happy she would always reply with "nothing."  We don't even hang out that much despite living in the same house.

"Lumine you look sad... Are you okay?" Paimon asked.

I nodded and proceeded to beat the fuck out of some hilichurls.

At Dawn Winery...

"Y/n! Y/N!" Moco was shouting in my ear to bring out of the clouds.

"Jeez, man you've been distracted lately, is something the matter?" Hillie asked.

"Oh, nothing..." I replied. They gave me smug faces.

"Spill the tea sis," Moco said.

Knowing they would pressure me into telling them, a quickly gave in and told them.

"A certain someone asked me out, and uh, it's been quite a long time since we've talked-"

Hillie immediately cut me off. " Who? WHO?" Hillie was shaking me.

"Woah, girl chill," Moco peeled Hillie off me.

"Just so you know that "special someone," asked you on a date."

"And they probably like you if they asked you out."

Why didn't I notice?... All those gifts that he gave me?

You felt someone tap your shoulder. You turned around and it was Venti. He was holding a bouquet of your f/f(fav flower.)

"For you," he said and he flashed a smile, a slight blush dusted his cheeks.

"Thank you, Venti." Smiling back you gave a head pat.

𝑬𝒏𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝑭𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒉𝒃𝒂𝒄𝒌.

The next day he gave you chocolates. Going back months, to that time you got reincarnated as a slime, he gave you the Cecilia flowers. You smiled and touched the flowers on your head.

Many hours later...

Rushing to the teapot to get changed quickly. Wearing a simple but elegant dress. (imagine it bc ur dear author is lazy.)

It was already late, and you rushed over to where you would meet Venti, at the statue of Windrise.

Little did you know Lumine was stealthy following you.

Once you arrived Lumine climbed the tree to stay out of sight, Venti was strumming his lyre, patiently waiting for you.

Your heart thumped loudly in your chest. Taking a deep breath. You walked towards him.

He started strumming his lyre and opened his mouth to sing.

You smiled at him and shook your head, he immediately knew what it meant.

His eyes soon filled with tears, he dropped his lyre and sobbed, you felt guilty. Without thinking you hugged comforting him. "I'm sorry" you whispered in his ears, "I'm sorry".

Lumines eyes widened at the sight, but soon a smile painted her face.

"Yᴏᴜ Aʀᴇ Mɪɴᴇ"

Fun fact! This was originally going to be a Venti X reader, but I felt was going to be to short and since I never saw Lumine X Readers I decided I would write one. There will be more Lumine soon. And probably Rosaria... Maybe, just maybe. Anyways bye!
