La Crux

This is off memory so there will be some changes.

"Beidou, huh?" You mutter

"Yes, she's a pirate. I met her a few times looking for spirits in Guyun Stone Forest. Beidou's ship is currently anchored there, she's currently going to hold a tournament of some sort." Chongyun affirms.

"Maybe if we win, she could take us to Inazuma." Lumine proposes, 

"Yeah, I heard there is a special guest from Inazuma who traveled with her, maybe they could show you around."

What is a guy from Inazuma doing here? I thought Inazuma was blocked off.

"What are we waiting for? Let's go!" Lumine grabs your hand and teleports away, leaving Chongyun alone to his own devices. He shrugs and takes a bite out of his plain ice cream and walks away.

"So it's here, " you, Lumine, and Paimon were met with a ring and a cheering crowd. Looking around you found the sign-up desk. Behind the sign-up desk was a tall woman with an eyepatch, adorning a giant smile and a smaller boy was next to her, who had amber eyes and white hair. His attire reminded you of old Japanese traditional clothing. Wrapping up their convo, they welcomed you, radiating a warm aura.

"Haha! Welcome travelers! Here to join the fun?"

"Yeah!" All three of you punch your fists in the air.

The tall woman and man nod at each other, pleased.

Kazuha PoV

Maybe this will be it. I can probably reach my goal.

I clench my fists hopeful.

I watch Beidou pass the clipboard to the travelers. The taller ones sign their names, I take note, "Lumine" and "y/n".

"The rounds will start soon, line up over there." She whacks my back, nearly sending me toppling onto the desk, "My friend Kazuha will lead you there," Y/n seemed to have noticed and stifled a laugh.

As we walked they asked a few questions, "so, I guess you're the foreigner from Inazuma?" y/n asks, "That would explain your cool-looking outfit. I nod, "The name is Kazuha."
After dropping off the group, I walked to the center of the ring and announced the fighters.

The crowd cheered as the fighters fought each other eventually getting to Lumine and  Y/n. The two quickly beat their opponents eventually meeting each other in the ring.

They ready their blades, ready for a fight.

Lumine PoV

"Didn't think we'd meet each other here," I say, drawing out my dull blade.

"It was bound to happen," y/n says and charges forward and swings her claymore downwards. I narrowly evade the attack and send geo her way. The stones stun her slightly, taking advantage I swing my sword but y/n blocks the attack. This started a sword fight with a geo and pyro mixing creating a spectacular show, and making the crowd gasp in awe.

Beidou PoV

Watching slightly from afar I saw the show. Seems like they're the winners.

Gathering the crew and Kazuha we headed to the ring and congratulated them. The crowd cheered,
"Man, they get a vision! So lucky!",

"Dad, why'd you have to lose? I wanted to go on Miss Beidou's ship!" the daughter scolds her Dad

"What about the vision?" the Dad asks

"Miss Beidou's cooler..." the girl says

I chuckle at the crowds' little comments.

"So what's the prize?" Lumine says

"Ooh! Paimon can't wait!"

Kazuha Pov

I take a few steps toward the travelers and pull out a box from my sleeve. I open it and hand it to them.

"A masterless vision"

Y/n shakes her head "We don't need it," she turns down the gift.

"We need a ride to Inazuma if you don't mind." Lumine finishes.

"I-i see," I was quite shocked that someone would turn down such a reward, I could help but show some disappointment in my voice.

"Sure! We can do that for you!" Beidou wraps her arms around y/n and Lumine's necks, making them blush slightly.

Y/n pov

Her grip is so tight... Can't breathe...

Updates are going to be slow from now on, I'm sorry but I'm not really enjoying/playing Genshin Impact right now. I'll probably get back to it in the summer holidays. I've got a mha x Venom fanfic on the way and another Genshin fanfic I've been writing.

Dw i won't completely abandon this book tho.
