The Hunt

A yellow sphere emitted a warm glow before fading to a dull grey, signalling the end of Teppei's short life.

Perhaps Teppei was a bit delusional, thinking that he'd end up with you, forever unknown to him that you and Lumine were together.

Lumine says nothing as you clutch the delusion close to your chest, close to your heart. It wasn't the first time you lost someone close to you. Lumine's eyes narrowed slightly in jealousy. Would you react the same if she was in the position as Teppei. She calmed down a bit after recalling the event in Liyue.

She knelt down and pulled you into a hug. She felt your warm tears on her shoulders and sobbed quietly.

Lumine pulls you up onto your feet and squeezes your hand in reassurance.
She looked at you with a fiery glow in her eyes. You knew what you had to do.

There she was, the Electro Archon Baal, in all her electrifying glory.

Without a word, the Archon pulls out her sword from her chest and, with one slash, sends you and Lumine to her dimension.

The arena was the same, the sand on the floor still in the same flowing pattern something was amiss.

As the two of you drew your blades, you were filled with new found power. Looking up at the sky while Lumine was busy with Raiden, you saw lights in the sky. They weren't stars upon closer inspection, no, but visions. That was what was giving you power.

Raiden also looked up, sensing their presence. She had an irritated look on her face. That's new.

The archon dashes towards you blade ready to kill. Lumine comes in time to parry the attack. You turn into a slime allowing for Lumine to propell herself into the air and appear behind Raiden and attack. No luck, Raiden countered the attack, sending Lumine back. In retaliation, you lunge forward stabbing Raiden, but she breaks you claymore seemingly not feeling your attack. What?!

You felt someone pull your collar evading Raiden's next attack.

"Seems like we came just in time, no, Yae Miko?"

The man flaunts you a smile. He seemed familiar, especially that blue eye of his.

Raiden stopped attacking, looking at the pink fox helping Lumine up. The kick to stomach really did a number on her.

. Skipping alot of this as I don't remember.

....Shrine entrance stairwell....

After the foxy Yae Miko answered all your burning questions the three of you walked down the stairs of the mountain.

Paimon's purple eyes looked at you worried,  "you seemed to be lost in thought Y/n, are you OK?"

Just who was that guy?
You couldn't shake off the sense of familiarity from him. You  needed to look into him more. Yae Miko, knew nothing about him though. Just that you and Lumine were in a predicament, and he offered to help.

The fairy's head to tilted to the side. Head still up in the clouds, Lumine grabs you hand and pulls you closer, interlocking her arm with yours and interwining your fingers together. That definitely pulled you back to earth and a kiss your cheek, even more so.

Paimon was left behind red from embarrassment. "Paimon doesn't wanna see you guys doing lovey-dovey stuff!"

Lumine gives Paimon a devilish grin. The fairy immediately knew what it meant. "Paimon doesn't want to join!"

"Uh huh..." you hum in disbelief. The three of you laugh after a couple of moments of stifling laughter.

"Hey, Lumi...'

"Yeah..."

"Wanna fuck?"

"Sure." Lumine says monotonous but excited.

Paimon looks at two of you disbelief. As she was left out of the teapot.

Sorry, I'm missing some key details like the thing Yae gives you and stuff (and Signora, Yikes!)

I trying to wrap this story up soon as losing passion for this book if couldn't tell due to my shit writing and short chapters and I've a MHA, Honkai star rail one shot and another Genshin book to write. But I got something planned for this book and hope you stick around for the end :)
