The Fitting

With as late as their dinner party had run on Monday night our couple had decided to have a relatively lazy Tuesday. So no morning workouts and their weekly dog walk was pushed off for a day or two. They basically tried not to get out of bed unless they needed to eat or take the dogs out. While Hailee towards the middle of the day wanted to get up and be productive she couldn't find the strength to leave the warmth of her girlfriends arms. So Hailee stayed in bed in y/n's arms because if there was one thing Hailee was learning from y/n it was that sometimes it's nice to take a break and relax. Tomorrow would be a new day and she could go to her Met fitting and do some chores after.

So when the morning came and the sunlight began to shine through the cracks in their curtains Hailee found herself waking up in a great mood. That day of laziness had really done some good for Hailee. Instead of having to force herself to get out of bed she was bright-eyed and bushy-tailed ready to get y/n up. However y/n wasn't very easy to wake up. Hailee had to violently shake her girlfriend to wake her from her deep sleep.

You need to get up!

Why?

 I just wanna stay in bed!

I know, I know you do.

But it's Wednesday.

I know that but what does that have to do with me getting up?

Y/n had now rolled over to face Hailee and reach for her wrist trying to pull her back into bed.

Come here let's just relax in bed again.

 Just for a few more hours.

While cuddling up next to you fo another hour sounds amazing we have to get up.

We have got to get going.

No it's today.

So y/n sprang up from the bed and began to apologize to Hailee.

Shit!

I'm so sorry I messes up the dates.

Had I known it was today I would have been up and ready but I will hurry up and get ready.

As y/n began to look around the room in a panic looking for the quickest most acceptable outfit to wear in front of a designer Hailee reached for y/n's chin and planted a kiss on her cheek to reassure her girlfriend.

It's okay my love it's a mistake anyone could make.

It's one I have made more than once.

The nice part about fittings is you don't have to wear anything elaborate so you can get away with wearing some sweats. So there really is no need to worry about impressing our designer.
