Meeting her Parents

Hailee and y/n got up bright and early at 6:00 am to catch their 7:30 am flight. But also to triple-check, they had everything they would need before leaving the house and going out of state for the next few days. As annoying as it was to be up this early it was just something y/n needed to do. Some people needed to check their locks 4 times and y/n just needed to do a quick walk through and triple-check her packing list as if she was Santa to make sure nothing was left behind. 

Ok, I think I have everything I checked my list at least 6 times.

But at this rate, if I don't have something it was meant to stay in California.

Well, I definitely have everything I need and some of your stuff in my bag because it wouldn't fit in yours.

Well it was that or checking a bag.

A title upgrade, you know from girlfriend to partner. 

While they are interchangeable girlfriend is maybe a little more childish. Makes what we have sound like its new and fragile. 

Partner however, implies we're in it to win it and we aren't going anywhere anytime soon. At least in my mind, that's how I've always thought about it.

And this was the reason that Hailee had fallen for y/n. She was honest. She picked up on the smallest details that no one before her had. None of her boyfriends would have noticed much less cared that she had referred to them as a partner. But y/n did she always did. While Hailee loved that y/n had wanted to talk about it there was simply no time they had to get going so Hailee got her lovely partner to be quiet the quick way by kissing her mid-ramble.

Well that wasn't great it was cute that y/n had gone into some little dreamland imagining their lives together but here was not the time or place the plane was. So with a quick wave of the hand in front of y/n's face Hailee brought y/n back to reality.

 Hello? You in there? We have to get all this stuff outside the car is right down the street.

Not exactly, I processed that and then my brain kinda imagined a life where we grow old together and go to all your movie and show premieres together maybe have a family. Only if you want that kind of thing, and then we go and travel a little.
