WE'RE DONE

We are?

Yeah, we're done.

There's nothing left for us.

I can't believe we're done already.

I know right.

You had quite a few boxes, for a second there I thought we'd never get you unpacked.

Hey, I said we could take a break at midnight and finish it later today.

But if we had stopped we would have to spend the rest of my days with you getting you all situated.

While that is true it wouldn't have taken more than a day.

Besides I could ave unpacked while you where away.

But we did it all in 12 hours.

And we have a sick surround sound system in the bedroom now thanks to you.

That they did, maybe it wasn't necessary but y/n really did like that at her place she could play her records while she laid in bed at night. It had become her white noise machine. It was just way more set up and a bigger pain in the ass than the far cheaper and probably far superior versions she could buy at a Target or order on Amazon. But it was something y/n took pride in because some of the records were her grandpa's that he had gifted to y/n when she got her first suitcase player. The massive set of speakers came from her grandma who hadn't wanted to take the old bulky speakers in their move. Then there were modern aspects like the new receiver and turntable that y/n had saved up to buy.

When something meant that much to y/n and looked that cool Hailee couldn't say no to y/n. Besides the vibe the record setup brought to their master bedroom was immaculate. Hailee did however have to draw a line when it came to displaying the handful of signed records above the player. She told y/n those could go up in the office.

With everything unpacked y/n was over the moon. She was home. She was so happy she couldn't help but scoop up Hailee and kiss her.

It's crazy how in 12 hours you can pack up your whole life, move across a state, and unpack it in a new home.

I have to say I am so happy for this new chapter of my life.

You say that like it's a bad thing.

It's not a bad thing, it's a crazy thing.

A kind of thing I never would've thought I'd ever do.

Well, Hailee certainly never imagined this happening to her either. But hey it's not every day you meet the person of your dreams and you have this whirlwind romance. But here se was in that exact situation and if given the opportunity she would do it all again in a heartbeat if it meant she could be with y/n. But of course, you can't really say all of that out loud so a simple blush and turn of the head would have to do.

Then there was a grip on Hailee's cheek and chin. It was soft and kind. y/n just wanted to make sure Hailee was looking at her when she told her how she felt. So Hailee could see that y/n meant every single word
