Kalen – chapter 18

Kendra seemed happier today, her smile meant the most. She joked around and didn't care at the looks the ladies of court or the dukes gave her. She never nodded to everyone and kept her head up high, that's what I liked most about her. She wouldn't let anybody think they have power over her. She didn't even hesitate when she slapped Caldor across the face, luckily, I was the only one who saw what had happened. She didn't care about others' opinions she goes with whatever she wants.
