Maggie

After setting up the table, preparing some things, and posting a To-do list note, I went directly to our room. I saw Luthor, still in our bed and in deep slumber. I don't want to disturb him since he was tired yesterday from his work but we don't have a choice.

Yumuko ako para silipin ang mukha ni Luthor, he's sleeping peacefully but, "I'm sorry, Hon" I whispered. Gently, I tapped his arm to wake him up, "Hon?" I called. Ilang beses ko pang inulit iyon at buti ay nagmulat na siya ng mata.

"Hmm?" he asked, looking at me with his eyes half-closed. "I'm sorry if I woke you up but I have a class today and I need to ask you to take care of our child"

He didn't answer, he looked around innocently then stretched his body and yawned. Bumangon siya at saka umupo habang nakapikit pa rin ang mga mata. I sat beside him, "Good morning" I greeted late.

"Good morning" he said in raspy voice, he looked at me and pecked me on my temple. "What did you say again? You have class?" he asked and I nodded.

"Yeah, I have a sudden class later at 6:40 then another one in the afternoon"

"And I'll look out for Leuwan?"

"Yeah, are you okay with it?"

He looked at me then chuckled, "Of course, I'm her Dad and it's my responsibility too" I smiled at him, "Are you sure you can handle her?"

"Just a piece of cake"

Hindi ko alam kung pagkakatiwalaan ko si Luthor sa pag-aalaga sa anak namin, It’s not that I didn't trust him, hindi lang siya masiyadong sanay sa pag-aalaga. I already taught some ways, like changing baby's diaper, magtimpla ng gatas and how to make her sleep but that's not enough, I guess. That's why, I already prepared a notes for instruction and guide.

Hindi pa rin kasi kami nakakahanap ng babysitter, it's actually because of me kaya matagal kami makahanap. Masiyado akong mabusisi at pihikan sa pamimili ng mag-aalaga, I can't just trust anyone to take care of our child. So, as a back up plan today, I messaged Mommy Fridgette—my Mother-in-law—to come here to help Luthor.

Sabay na kaming kumain ng breakfast ni Luthor, napakain ko na rin ng soft food si Leuwan. Leuwan Marga is our first born child, she's already a year old, and she's beautiful. Her features is a mixed of mine and Luthor, but Luthor always claimed that Leuan got his features most than mine, hindi ko na lang kinokontra dahil masaya siya do’n.

After fixing my things, lumapit ako sa mag-ama ko. Luthor is sitting on our living room while carrying Leuwan in his arm, who's giggling.

"Hon, I need to go" I said upon drawing close near them, Luthor stood up, "I'll drive you" umiling ako agad, "No, I can drive. Just take care of our Leuwan okay? Yung mga habilin ko ah"

"I know Hon, have a safe drive" He stooped down at me and kissed me on my lips, "I will" I also kissed Leuwan in her cheeks. I smiled on Luthor again and walk my way outside.

"Take care, I love you" I heard Luthor said, "Love you too" I answered back before going to our garage.

"So what are we gonna do now?" pagkausap ni Luthor sa anak, Leuwan stared at him then giggled that made him smile. "You really looked like me, but a cheerful one", Leuwan giggled again.
