I sat up from my bed, I heaved a sigh before massaging my  temple. I grabbed my phone from the side cabinet and looked at the time. It's already past 12 midnight but I still can't sleep.

I get out of my bed and went out to the balcony. Agad akong napayakap sa sarili nang maramdaman ang malamig na simoy ng hangin. Sumandal ako sa railing at saka tumingin sa ibaba kung saan may mga nagdadaanang ilang sasakyan.

Hindi na ako nakatira sa unit namin ni Loki sa Henson Apartment. Lumipat na ako sa condominium kung saan din nag-i-stay si Al. I just can't comeback after everything that happened. That place is full of our memories, not only with Loki but also with Al and Jamie. Mahirap mag-move on kung mananatili ako sa lugar na 'yon.

But Loki stayed, he came back at our unit without me. He asked me once why did I left. I said my reasons and he fully understand why. Hindi niya ako pinilit at hinayaan na lang ako. Well, we still see each other in school. We still have time for each other along with Al and Jamie.

I looked up at the sky and was amazed when I saw how bright the moon is. It looks beautiful, I can't help but smile.

Napatigil lang ako sa pagtitig sa buwan nang marinig kong tumunog ang cellphone ko. I went inside and took my phone. Speaking of Loki, he just sent me a message.

12:34 AM

Loki:
Still up?

Gano'n ba siya kagaling sa deduction kaya alam niyang gising pa ako? But that's impossible, nagkataon lang sigurong nag message siya na gising pa ako.

I clicked the reply box and type my reply.

Lorelei:
Yes, why?

Wala pang one minute ay bigla na lang tumawag si Loki. Medyo nagulat pa ako pero agad ko ring sinagot iyon.

"Hello?" I greeted.

["Want to meet?"]

My forehead creased and l looked at the phone screen to make sure that it's Loki.

"Why? Alas dose na, may nangyari ba?" I asked, quite confuse.

["Uh.."] there was a long silence before I heard him clearing his throat. ["This is embarrasing but I was actually practicing waltz for your debut. I can't do it well kung ako lang mag-isa. It would be better if I'll have a partner. That's why I asked you if you're still up."] mahabang paliwanag niya.

Natahimik ako saglit bago mahinang natawa, "The Loki Mendez I know won't make an effort just for a dance. It's weird na nagpa-practice ka ng ganitong gabi?"

["I know, but I don't want to embarrass you and myself in your special day. It'll already happen the day after tomorrow, so I need to be prepared. Are you gonna help me tonight or not?"]

I think for a while before responding to him, "Okay, okay. I'll come, saan ba?"

["Remember the playground near the Henson's Apartment? Let's meet there, I'll wait for you."] he bid good bye then hang up the call.

Nagpalit lang ako ng suot na pajama, kinuha ko ang dark brown na cardigan pagkatapos magpalit ng damit. Sinuot ko iyon bago lumabas ng unit. I already booked a grab to take me near Henson's Apartment, I'll just have to wait outside the condo.
