CHAPTER 2

Miko's POV

The second class went quite well. It was just physics, and physics sucks. I despise the class. Hmm, it's actually 2:30 right now, and the next class starts at 3 and ends at 4:30. It's rather tiring.

Raiden Ei's class is next to Class 1-B, and I'm in Class 1-C, so we're only one room apart. I'm curious as to what kind of vampire she is.

Although my family had advised me not to go too near to vampires, they were vampire hunters back then, but that changed when the leaders of mankind, vampires, witches, and werewolves came to an agreement and ended the war between them.

Vampires are my family's sworn foes, and they still hold a grudge against them. Back in my old hometown, I made a few vampire friends who were very nice to me and never made me feel left out. It's a shame I have to leave them.

Well, the past is gone. I'm glad I made a friend who is also the High Priestess's daughter. Great luck, I tell you.

Raiden Ei. How do I get close to her? Will she come to my rescue again if I get myself into trouble? Should I... Should I try it again later? Ugh, this is going to kill me. Fuck it. Let's simply get ourselves into trouble later.

"What are you thinking about so deeply?" chuckled Kokomi. Oh, I forgot she was sitting next to me.

"Nothing, just spacing out," I said.

"Don't tell me you're thinking about Ei," she teased.

"E-eh? I'm not," 

"Well, I was shocked also that she protected you there, I mean saved you; it was the first time we witnessed something like that here; when Itto bullies others, she simply lets it be, without intervening; but with you, she interfered,"

"Well, maybe it's only because I'm a human with no strength against Itto," I reasoned.

"You have a point there," she said. 

"But..."

She stared at me as if she knew what I was about to ask, and she is correct. I'd like to ask about Raiden Ei.

"Where does she usually hang out, in her spare time or something?" I inquired.

"Oh-ho," she said, smirking. "Well, most of the time, it's very quiet in the longue, and not many people hang around there," she explained.. 

"I see, can you take me there so I know where I'm going?" I said.

"You're interested in her now, huh?" she chuckled.. "Don't worry, I'll help you with her," she added.

"It's not that I have a crush on her; she merely piqued my interest,"

Maybe that's a lie. She's hot as hell.

"I see, well, a lot of people have been interested about her, and a lot of people have a crush on her, she's like the campus crush or something," she chuckled. "Be careful, there may be girls who are envious of you,"

"I'll be careful, don't worry," I said. 

"I'm going to tell you everything about her rumors later after school," she said as the bell rang.

"So, here's the longue, please wait for me here because I have to go to the principal's office for Itto and his gang," she added as she walked away.

"Alright," 

Looks like she's not here; well, the longue isn't that bad; it's nice, cold, and comfy, and there aren't that many people. If Ei isn't around, this may be my favorite spot.
