Miko's POV:
"Can you tell me how you're going to distract those two guards?" I inquired.
If you're wondering where we are right now, we're at Ayato's house. But we're stuck on how to distract those two guards guarding the library; all the maids were given the day off since me, Kokomi, Ayato, and his sister Ayaka were going to spend the night here; the trouble is, these two guards can't leave their positions.
"I have a spell that will put them to sleep, but I have to approach them and mutter a few things that they will hear; if you guys hear it too, I'm afraid you'll... fall asleep," she explained.
Those who hear the spell will be affected by the sleeping spell.
"Ah," Ayato said. "Let's go upstairs first," he murmured as Ayaka and I followed. After we left, Kokomi approached them.
We heard Kokomi calling us after a few minutes, and when we walked down, the guards were asleep.
"Will they remember what happened when they wake up?" Ayaka asked.
"They'll just recall they fell asleep and slacked off," Kokomi said as she unlocked the library door. "Let's go in,"
We went in... and boy, it was dusty and in in need of cleaning, but we didn't because it would appear like someone was there, and we don't want to be caught, do we?
We wandered around the library, looking for books about Dracula and his offsprings. Well, I learnt a lot of things, such as how sunlight does not kill vampires, but rather weakens them. Silver items can harm them, but holy water cannot. That entertains me.
"Did you guys find any useful information?" Ayato asked.
"Not yet," Ayaka said. "However, I discovered that vampires were literally brutal back then," she said. "I'm so ashamed to be one,"
Vampires enslaved humans, and werewolves became their main source of food. Vampires were terrible back then. But now that vampires are polite, thoughtful, and generous, everything has changed.
"I found it!" Kokomi exclaimed as she walked to the center table in the library, where we pushed all the books and Kokomi placed the book she found.
"It states here that Dracula has three children," Kokomi explained. Three? Damn. "One son and two daughters," she added. The names were... They weren't particularly visible since the ink had been tampered with, but there are some photos.
"Wait...here it is," she said. "Oh, fuck me, I knew it!" exclaimed her.
"Knew what?" Ayato inquired, taking the photo from Kokomi's hands and.... It was a family photo.
It's a painting of Dracula in the center, Professor Scaramouche alongside him, and... Ei and another girl in the back.
Ei... All along, she had been Dracula's daughter. That is why my life is in danger.
"I...I think we're all screwed," Ayaka said. "I sense another presence alongside us,"
"I'm surprised our photo is in this library,"
We all turned to look at the source of the voice, and it was... Ei's.
Ayato and Ayaka bowed, "M-my lord." Kokomi is unable to move due to Ei's tremendous aura, and I, too, am unable to move.
"That girl next to me in the photo," she said. "That's my elder twin sister, Raiden Makoto," she explained. "What are you thinking learning who I really am, it just jeopardizes your life," she hissed.
I'd never seen Ei so upset.
"W-we apolo-"
"It was my fault," I said as I interrupted Ayato's talk. "I indulged them in knowing about who you are, don't harm them," I said.
