CHAPTER 16

"Both of you," Miko sighed. "The time I got home, there was a lot of delivery stuff here!" she said as she scolded me and Sayu, who were on our knees.

"S-sorry, Mommy," Sayu whimpered. Poor kid, witnessing the wrath of this lover of mine.

"Mommy?" Miko looked at me, confused.

"I told her that... we would be her parents," I said, and her eyes suddenly became soft as she looked over to Sayu and carried her like a baby. "Did you have a good time with your Daddy Ei?"

Daddy, pfft. She calls me that when we're in...bed.

"I-i did! We bought a lot of stuff! Toys and candies! And... she even took care of the thugs!" she said happily. Miko looked at me with a poker face and I just smiled at her. She sighed then she put down Sayu and told her to go back to her room with her toys.

She walked up to me, sat on my lap, and wrapped her arms around my neck. "It's a shame that I didn't get to see you...fight," she smiled.

This is what I really love about her, her sadist side.

"Don't worry, dear," I said. "There is more to it," I said. She raised her eyebrows.

"There were a bunch of werewolves in that house too, and someone ordered them to kidnap those werewolves," I said, and I gave her the letter that I got from the man earlier. "The handwriting is rather familiar. I should ask Makoto about this. This issue can cause another war and put you both in danger."

"Is that so?" she said. "When will you leave?"

I sighed. "Maybe tomorrow. I need to solve this as soon as possible." I said. "I'm quite worried about me leaving you two here. Should I ask Ayaka to be your bodyguard?"

Miko pecked my lips and put her forehead to mine. "Silly, we can take care of ourselves," she said. "Me and Sayu will have a mother-daughter bonding time," she smiled.

Oh, she sure does really look happy now that we have a daughter, and I'm glad we found Sayu.

"Going on a shopping spree?" I smiled at her. 

"Hmm, maybe?" she chuckled. "Although I might be broke,"

"Don't worry about the money; I'll give you my card, and you can spend it to your heart's content," I chuckled, kissing her nose.

She laughed at me and said, "Indeed, I do have a sugar vampire daddy."

There she goes again, with her teasing.

The sunlight hits our faces by the window. It was annoying since I was trying to get my beauty sleep. My girlfriend really wants to sleep with me in the night, so I have to force myself to sleep in the night. 

Ha, the things I do for her.

I stood up and looked at our digital clock. It's 7 in the morning. I need to go since I want to finish this issue as soon as possible and spend some quality time with my family. I already told Ayato about this family of ours, and the papers for the adoption will be finished by tomorrow. As expected of a Kamisato offspring, such a reliable companion.

I looked at Miko, who was still sleeping comfortably on our bed. She really looks like an angel sent from above, and here am I. A child that came from a devil. But, I don't care. As long as Miko loves and wants me, I'm fine with that.

I closed the curtains so she could still sleep and not be disturbed by the sun. I took a shower and changed into my outdoor clothes because I won't be returning home until later in the evening or tomorrow.
