A knock on the door woke me up, my eyes immediately flicked towards Luciana who; was peacefully lying on the bed. My eyes traveled toward the heart monitor and saw that her vitals are normal. 

"Pasok" ani 'ko while still lying on the bed beside Luciana. Hindi pa kasi ito nagigising simula kagabi pero normal naman daw iyon dahil nagrerecover pa ang katawan niya. Tantsa ng mga doktor na ngayong araw magigising na ito.

Sidriel went in, I saw his eyes move toward Luciana but quickly flicked towards me as if he was just checking out if she was well. 

"Mr. SaintClaire is in his office, he wants to talk about the best course of action that we should do regarding Georgina." ani niya at lumabas bago isinara ang pinto. 

Magaalas kwatro pa lamang ng umaga at kung tutuosing ay wala pa akong matinong tulog dahil as much as I try to sleep nangangamba ako na isang pikit lang ng mga mata 'ko ay baka may mangyari kay Luciana habang tulog ako. 

Hindi nadin nakakagulat ang maagang pagkilos ni Lakan, dahil kung may iisang kayaman ito yun ay si Georgina. Alam 'kong may nakakatandang kapatid ito, and ironically my sister Anastasia is on the same foster home where mama left their eldest child. Maybe that's the reason why mama layla and Lakan adopted me because we share the same history, yung mga taong nawalay sa amin ay naiwan namin sa iisang lugar. 

They never got the chance to find their first born dahil noong makalaya na si Lakan mula sa mga komunista na inutusan ni Senator Delos Santos para patayin si Lakan, ay siya 'ding muntik ng pagkalunod ni mama layla. Siguro nga't tunay na pinagpala ang kanilang pagmamahalan dahil sa ospital kung saan unang humingi ng tulong si Lakan matapos makatakas sa mga komunista ay yoon 'ding ospital na pinagdalhan kay mama layla. 

...and the rest is history. Masyadong madaming pinagdaanan na hirap ang mga tumayong magulang 'ko, and Colombia was our salvation. We had to leave everything behind, and travel as far away from the Philippines lalo na ang Batanes habang gobernador pa dito si Senator Delos Santos, but all those years weren't thrown into waist. Mahabang panahon ang ginugol namin para paghandaan ang paghihiganti namin. 

But...looking at the situation right now, we've encountered all sorts of roadblocks. 

Putangina. Nawala na lahat sa plano. 

I reached for the shirt that was draped on the sofa and walked back towards the bed to check Luciana's heart monitor again. I pressed the red button so the nurse could come in dahil hindi 'ko alam anong oras ako makakabalik.
