"So tell me, princess, are you falling for me too?" 

I heaved a sigh and continued looking at the waves softly crashing on the yacht's hull. My body swayed a little bit like the waves gently rocking the boat. I was about to answer him but by some trick this world played, a crew member called him because Lakan radioed him from Bataan. Now, I'm far more anxious than I was when he first asked me. The anticipation of how I'm going to answer him is eating up my system. 

I swirled the remaining champagne on my glass and sighed. Even drinking Moët & Chandon couldn't come down my nerves. It was far easier to answer him on the spot because I just had to fuck it all and live in the moment, but now that I had the time to internalize what I was going to answer it made me doubt my heart all over again. 

It made me doubt my loyalty toward my dad all over again because as silly as it sounds...I feel like I'm falling too. I know I definitely shouldn't. It is wrong. Gabriel caused so much pain to my dad yet...here I am getting lost in all his touch and kisses and what's worse is I like it. 

"Piece of advice, Luci, don't fall in love." 

I closed my eyes tight shut and leaned all my weight to the railings as Georgina's words echoed through my consciousness. 

Well...I'm not necessarily in love. I know that every time he's near me or whenever he touches me my whole body is like being lit on fire that even embers from our passion can be easily torched. 

"Hi! I was looking for you, andito ka lang pala" Ani ng isang matinis na boses. I clutched my chest tightly at halos maitapon ko ang champagne sa dagat dahil sa gulat!. I awkwardly faced the person at napakunot when I don't recognize her. Meztisa siya at medyo may hawig kay Georgina, halatang may lahi. 

Plinantsa ko yung nagusot 'kong damit at hinawakan ng maigi ang champagne glass para hindi ito matapon. I embarrassingly reached out my hand for a shake but my eyes widened when she suddenly hugged me at tuluyan na ngang natapon ang laman ng hawak 'kong champagne glass. 

"Oh! I'm sorry I just got too excited! I heard a lot about you. Georgina and tita Lyla kept talking about you saying that kuya Gab finally was able to settle down! by the way my name's Angela. I'm kuya Gab's younger cousin. " tuloy tuloy niyang saad while she used her handkerchief to dab on my wet fingers dahil natapon nga yung champagne. Her voice is so jolly and she sounded like she was really looking forward to see me. "Sayang nga at hindi ako nakaattend ng kasal. Paano ba yan si kuya kasi nagmamadali!" she chuckled before continuing. "Anyways, kuya invited me sa isla niya para kahit naman papaano ay may makasama ka daw. Since Georgina is in Australia probably boxing with those kangaroos" ani niya na nagpakunot sa aking nuo.

So that's what everyone thought, huh?, that Georgina's in Australia. Or that was what the SaintClaires wanted the world to know. Hindi nila alam ang plano ni Georgina na makipagsabwatan kay papa or this is just the way the SaintClaires like to cover up their daughter's schemes?. 

"Oh! she's in Australia?." Kunwaring gulat na tanong 'ko but I know the truth. 

"Hmmm" She nodded eagerly bago niya kinuha ang champagne glass mula sa akin at siya na ang nagbitbit. "Sorry about this sis!" ani niya bago itinapon sa dagat yung basong hawak na nagpalaki ng mga mata 'ko pero nginitian niya lamang ako. " So, ano na? Let's go ?. The gang's waiting at the upper deck." yaya niya sa akin bago ako hinatak paakyat.
