My heart beats so fast that it felt like it would've jumped out of my chest if I dont calm my self down. With shaky hands, I lift the phone to my ears and listened as the ringing continues. I frustratedly redialed it when it turned into a voice mail after a few rings. 

"Hey this is Georgina, sorry can't answer right now! DM me instead!." Ani ng recording na halos ilang beses ng paulitulit 'kong naririnig dahil hindi sinasagot ni Georgina ang cellphone niya. My eyes kept averting towards the door dahil baka bigla itong bumukas at malaman ni Jophiel that I have a direct communication with Georgina. 

"Answer the damn phone!." I silently exasperated through my gritted teeth. I felt cold sweat traveled down my spine as I anticipate Jophiel to bust into the room any minute now. My heart pounded as I redialed her number for the last time. My eyes keenly focused on the door knob readying myself to quickly turn the phone off as soon as the first sign of the knob turning shows. Each ring caused my heart to palpitate faster and I don't know what luck had the universe granted me but as soon as it went straight to voicemail again, the knob turned slowly and my instant reaction was to shut the phone off and bury it inside my bag. 

I tried to calm my nerves down as I try to look like as if I was just busy flipping things around trying to find something even if I don't even know what the hell I'm looking for. 

"Hey!" a hand touched my shoulder that made me jolt in my place. "Ay sorry! I didn't mean to scare you. Kain na tayo the men downstairs are busy playing pool kaya ako nalang ang umakyat." ani ni Angela. 

I nodded in agreement. I gave my bag one last look then closed the door at sumabay na ako bumaba.

Thank fucking god it wasn't Gabriel. 

The dinner went well. Nagsalosalo kaming lahat dahil huling gabi na ng mga kaibigan ni Jophiel dito sa isla. They said all good things must come to an end, pero masaya ako dahil sa halos dalawang araw nilang pananatili dito ay naranasan 'ko maging parte ng isang grupo. Growing up it was always me and Victoria who's together. Hindi ako nabarkada dahil pagkatapos ng buong araw sa eskwela ay deretso ballet rehearsals ako agad, and with Jophiel's long time friends here, everything in the island seems more lively. 

Lalo pang naging masaya ang salo-salo namin when Angela announced her pregnancy. It was in the middle of the dinner when she stood up abrupting everyone's conversation. She then proceed to hold the hand of Jeremiah and placed it on her yet slim belly. Jeremiah was so ecstatic that he howled in joy making everyone laugh. Ramdam 'ko ang paghigpit ng kamay ni Jophiel na nakahawak sa aking balikat while everyone was congratulating Angela. I looked at Jophiel and my brows knitted together when I saw how hard his jaw was set. May ngiti sa labi nito pero halatang hindi ito masaya. 

Everyone was so enthusiatic about the baby that know one noticed it...but I did. 

The night ended with Angela hugging me before boarding into the yacht dahil dederetso na sila ng Bataan pauwi sa kani-kanilang tahanan. Angel and Jeremiah will head off towards Manila while Jordan has a flight to catch papuntang LA dahil may laban ito sa boxing for the light feather weight title and Amir will be going with him dahil sa pagkakaalam 'ko ay siya ang tumatayong manager ni Jordan.
