Chapter 50

We stare into each other's eyes for a quick second before I slowly lean in while closing my eyes. She meets me in the middle and we share a slow loving kiss. "I missed this." She whispers, after we pull apart and I nod in agreement. "Me too." I agree while pulling her into my arms, keeping her as close as possible.

"Wow I-...you look beautiful." I whisper as I enter Billie's dressing room. "Really?" She asks while giving me a quick spin. "Yes baby, you look stunning." I assure her while steeping closer to her and wrapping my arms around her waist but she slaps my hands away. "Fucking rude." I complain while pouting. "Aww, are you gonna cry?" Laura teases with a devilish smirk. "Maybe." I joke as I step back and plop onto the couch next to her as the designers continue to fix some things up and check if everything is good.

"So, when do we get to see your met gala outfit?" Laura asks while turning her attention towards me. "I'm not going." I inform her. "What? Why?" Billie interrupts while turning her head to look at me. "I'm taking a break so I won't be attending the met gala this year." I explain softly. Laura lets a quiet 'oh' out while Billie nods with a sad smile. "Alright, I totally understand." Laura assures me.

"So you gotta sneak some pictures of my beautiful girlfriend for me." I tease, trying my best to lighten up the mood a little. "Will do." Laura assures me while Billie smiles at me. "So what are you doing after the fitting?" I ask Billie. "I'll be joining a support and feed gathering with mom and dad. Wanna join?" She asks but I shake my head no. "I'd love to but I'm getting some coffee with Hailee later." I tell her and she nods.

"What Hailee?" She asks while still standing at the exact same spot, letting the designers work on the dress. "Hailee Steinfield. I introduced her to you at the Oscar's." I remind her and she nods. "So, I'll see you tonight?" She asks and I nod while standing up and approaching her. I place a soft kiss onto her cheek before waving at Laura. "Bye guys." I say while leaving the room.

"Yeah, I gotta agree. The marvel cast is really hot and I'm so in love with Scarlett Johansson." I explain excitedly. "The whole marvel cast?" She asks, "Well mostly the woman but RDJ is a dilf." I tease as Hailee lets a laugh out. "But I also like that one character. What was her name again?... Kate Bishop or something." I tease while she rolls her eyes at me and we continue to chat while sipping on our coffee.

"So how's music going?" I ask softly and she starts rambling about her passion for music while I smile at her. "That's awesome." I reply as she nods softly. "You know what we have in common?" I ask with a small smirk and she raises her eyebrows at me while shaking her head no. "We both dated one direction members." I continue with a teasing smirk and she rolls her eyes at me while I burst out laughing.

"You think you're funny huh?" She asks with raised eyebrows as I nod while trying to contain my laughters. She hits my arm playfully and I pout. "Aha so now we're being violent, huh?" I tease while acting hurt. "Stop being a baby." She teases with a smirk.

We talk for another hour until we say our goodbyes and agree to do this again. I'm currently driving to the Love Life Cafe, it's one of Billie's favorite restaurants. I already ordered her favorite salad, the love life salad while I took the taco salad for myself. It's already pretty late and it's about to close so I gotta hurry.

After a quick ride, I arrive at the vegan restaurant and run inside because it's raining and I don't want to get wet. As soon as I get the food, I pay and leave a good tip before quickly making my way back into the car and driving off to Billie's.
