I gotta meet with Rayne before I go and see Isabelle. I'm going to ask her for a week. I'm thinking that's fair. I drive over to the place she's been staying and she's lounging by the pool. Looking like she don't have a care in the world.

She sees me walking towards her and sits up to look at me.

"Hello Chris, didn't expect to see you so soon." She says

"I just wanted to talk to you about this break up with Isabelle." I tell her and her entire face changes.

"What about it? I already got rid of all traces of that thing on the internet. I can put it back just as quick." She tells me

"I thought you were gonna get rid of the original, so how could you do that?" I ask

"I'm not getting rid of the original, till you leave that pain in my ass." She tells me

"I need about a week. I can't do it right off the bat. That's not fair." I respond

"Chris, the longer you wait the more attached you're gonna get. The more attached she's gonna get... or I can deliver the tape to her myself and she could leave you instead if you'd like. I was thinking maybe you two could be friends if you just broke it off now." She says

"You don't think she's gonna be suspicious if I break up with her? She been nothing but good to me and I break up with her." I tell her

"Then maybeeeee you shouldn't have had sex with me." She says

"God Rayne the fuck is wrong with you! I'm already doin what you ask to begin with, so you shouldn't be complaining about shit" I reply

"I just want to announce our engagement as soon as I can." She says looking at a ring on her finger

Has this bitch lost her mind?

"Oh fuck no, hell no. You ain't about to do no shit like that Rayne." I say

She stands up and faces me.

"Listen here Chris, you either go along with this or forget any deal with my Father. You want that success you've been dreaming about? Then you marry me. Simple. Don't worry it won't be announced to the whole world, just the people that matter."

"You can't force me to marry you. This isn't a fucking movie." I say and turn to leave

"So you're gonna let me show this tape to Isabelle?" She asks

I stop and think. There's no way I'm going to marry Rayne. If her Father doesn't want to invest, then so what? I've done more than good on my own with my hotel. All that shit I did in Japan was for nothing.

I hate when Trey is right about everything, should've stayed my ass with Isabelle. I leave out the door and into my car to go see her, it's a long drive so I should have some time to think.

ISABELLE

I finished setting the table for lunch. It was a productive morning, my brother had dropped off some boxes while I was still asleep and my Dad and I have been busy getting everything put in it's rightful place. He's actually changed for what I've seen, but I haven't let my guard down quite yet, because who knows how long that could last.

As I sit down, my Dad joins me moments later.

"Brandon will be here in a couple minutes." He tells me

"Great, I'm so excited to meet him. I can't believe this is happening." I say with a slight laugh

"Me neither, your Mom would be so happy to see us like this."
