"I haven't heard much from Dev since she moved out and it's hurtin my feelings a lil bit." I tell Michael as we finish up our brunch.

"Bae, she's busy that's all. And why wouldn't she be, I mean you didn't tell me she was dating Chris Brown." Michael responds

I look over at him like he's crazy.

"What the hell you talkin bout Michael, she ain't datin Chris Brown" I tell him

"Are you sure about that?" He says scrolling through his phone and putting it in front of me

It's Chris' Instagram page and there is a picture of him and Dev.

I can't believe he knows about Dev's real name, and I can't believe she changed her IG name. What the hell is going on!?

"She looks good, I didn't even recognize her till I went to her IG and saw the pictures of y'all." Michael tells me

"I don't have a fucking clue what this is. Like I said we haven't been talking as much and now this!" I yell

I'm pissed now. How dare she not tell me some shit like that, I know her life's been changing but I didn't know it was like this. I grab my phone and call her.

"Ima let you handle this, im finna shower then head out." He says before he pecks me on the lips

"Hello?" Dev answers

"HELLO? ARE YOU FUCKING WITH ME RIGHT NOW DEV? OR SHOULD I SAY ISABELLE?" I yell

"Dre..."

"NO DON'T YOU DARE DRE ME! I HAVEN'T HEARD FROM YOU SINCE YOU LEFT AND NOW I'M FINDING OUT FROM IG THAT YOU AND BREEZY ARE A FUCKING ITEM?! WHAT THE HELL DEV!" I continue

"Are you done?" She asks

"Fuck is wrong with you god damn, I'm coming over Dev you're pissing me off!" I tell her

"Don't you have to work? I know your name is on the schedule today, Dre, we can talk later." She says calm as fuck

"I'll call in, fuck that." I respond

"I can't, I'm about to be leaving." She tells me

"OH REALLY? Since when do you not cancel whatever you're doing for me?" I ask stunned.

"I'm having lunch with Chris at 1 Dre." She answers

"OOOOOOOH, so it's cause of Chris. All of this because of Chris, so you guys are dating?" I ask

"Yes, he's my boyfriend. I told you how I would listen to him guest speak for those seminars, and how I'd always leave him notes at the end. And we've been dating since I actually met him here in the hotel. But I didn't know then that he was the owner you know." She tries to explain

"And you never told me? I thought he was rude to you." I ask

"He was but that was a front. He really didn't want people pestering me. But now he wants everyone to know." She tells me

"I don't believe you." I tell her

"Please believe me Dre. I'm serious." She says

"I want you both to talk to me, I want to know from him. Tonight." I say

"Dre, Chris is busy an-"

"If I don't see you tonight our friendship is over Dev."

"Fine. See you tonight." She responds
