She Fell From The Sky

Chapter 9

~THIRD PERSON POV~

"So what's your deal?" Elena asked the ginger haired girl.

"What do you mean?" questioned the now confused Genevieve as she couldn't recall ever offending the brunette.

"Yeah Elena what do you mean?" added Caroline who was trying her best not to glare at the doppelganger while Bonnie stayed silent as she knew shit was going down.

"I mean come on don't you guys find it suspicious how as Klaus left and took Stefan with him and when we almost found them she appeared,I think she's working for Klaus," replied the Gilbert doppelganger who was now facing the ginger.

"Its okay ,I get why you find me suspicious Elena I mean who wouldn't be after  all that you've been through however I have no ties to the hybrid named Klaus and if I could I'd help you locate Stefan," said Genevieve.

"We don't need your help," replied Elena.

"Wait do you also like Dammy?" Genevieve asked.

"Also?"questioned Elena.

"Yes I think you have romantic feelings for Dammy or you would be acting territorial or seeing me as a threat," replied Genevieve. "I read in one of the books with pictures that Caroline gave me that said girls behave territorial when they see another girl hanging with their crush so I thought since you are being like this you must have feelings for him," she added.

"Yes Elena do you like me," Damon suddenly appeared out of no where and asked as he handed Genevieve her food along with Bonnie and Caroline. Flustered by the questions Elena shouted a no before excusing herself saying she's needed at home.

"I don't know why she doesn't fess up about her feelings for you," said Caroline as she snatched one of Damon's fries.

"Well she's dating his brother so," added Bonnie who too snatched a fry.

"Dammy I know you have feelings for her even though you know she's with your brother so how about you go talk to her," suggested Genevieve.

"Why?"he asked not concerned about the human doppelganger.

"Well I think you both need closure regarding your feelings as I don't want her to string you along like how you said Katherine did. I believe if she has genuine feelings for you then you guys can talk about it and decide what to do if your going to be together after you find Stefan or your gonna stay friends," Genevieve said in concern as she knew no matter how much the elder Salvatore act brave deep down he loves the girl.

"Fine I'll go talk to her but you need to stay safe with Bonnie and Caroline," he said to which all three girls agreed to before he kissed Genevieve's cheek and went after Elena.

"Why did you do that Evie I can see you like him," asked Caroline.

"When I think about what Katherine did to him and his brother it makes me mad and I thought that maybe he has feelings for Elena because she looks like Katherine but he told it's not that and while listening I could see he genuinely loves the girl and even though I like him I decided to take everything slow we should be friends seeing as we don't know each other long and I want him to be happy with the girl he loves who hopefully feels the same way as him," she replied as she ate her hamburger.

The  witch and blonde vampire looked at the girl with pity but knew they couldn't say anything as they too knew Damon loves Elena and he would even put his undead life in danger just to keep her safe. They also could tell that the doppelganger has feelings for both Salvatore brothers but won't admit it however, unbeknownst to them the eldest Salvatore heard the conversation but decided to go have a chat first with the doppelganger to get some closure.

~DAMON'S POV~

I decided to walk instead of running towards the Gilbert house with my vampire speed. I wanted to clear my head as I knew that loving my brother's girlfriend wasn't a good thing but I couldn't help myself. The first time I saw her drunk on the Wickery Bridge I thought she was Katherine. I thought she got out of the tomb but when I got closer I heard her heartbeat and realized that she's human and not Katherine.

I knew about Katherine being a vampire because unlike Stefan she didn't compel me and I resented him for not only getting her captured by our abusive father but when we were turned I wanted to die but he forced me to turn. I remember his sicken smile and his talk about how we were now powerful as I sat on the ground crying looking at the body of the girl I just killed. I'm not going to say I'm not a bad guy because I know I did horrible stuff especially due to my anger. I remembered almost killing Bonnie when Emily took over her body, I killed Jeremy and luckily he had on the Gilbert ring or he'd be dead now and I even killed Zach when Stefan took my ring and locked me up in the cellar.

I kind of feel hurt thinking about my feelings for Elena especially when we thought I'd die just like Rose from the werewolf bite. I thought we had a connection and even though I knew it was wrong I did it anyways because I knew even if I was going to die I should tell her how I feel and I did which ended with us kissing before bitchy Katherine interrupted us. Now I'm glad we got the cure but not at the expense of my brother becoming a ripper again and the girl I love ignoring me and acting like our kiss didn't matter.

It's like things can't go right when vampires, werewolves or even witches are involved. I finally arrived at the Gilbert house and knock on the door before it  suddenly opened and I came face to face with Elena.

"Can we talk?" I asked.

~THIRD PERSON POV~

Meanwhile far away a black car drove into a city and stopped at an abandoned building. The two males were about to exit the vehicle as the hybrid said, "Welcome back to Chicago Stefan." The shocked ripper slowly got out of the vehicle as he looked around his surrounding before looking back at the original hybrid.
