Chapter 21

~THIRD PERSON POV~

"What do you want Mikael?" Klaus asked trying not to look scared while talking to his father.

"My son," he replied.

"Throughout the years I've hunted you and your siblings down and I called you an abomination but now I see that I was wrong. I let my fear and hurt cause me to not only abuse you but my wife and children," he added.

"Why should I believe you," Klaus asked now on the verge of tears.

"I might now be your father by blood but I hope that you'd give me the chance to be a real father to you from now on and I'm sure young Genevieve would also like that," he replied with a smile.

"You spoke to her?" Klaus asked shocked as he walked up to his father.

"Of course I did son and she made me realize what a truly awful person I am and I promised her I'd come and apologize and seek your forgiveness so will you give this old man a hug," Mikael said opening his hands.

"Father," Klaus cried out as he hugged Mikael. Truly all he wanted was to be acknowledged and he didn't care how others were looking at him the thousand-plus-year-old hybrid sobbing into the shoulders of his father but he was happy.

"No Klaus don't believe him this is all a trick," said Katherine posing as Elena.

"Damn the doppelgangers," said Mikael as he walked up to the vampire doppelganger and ripped her heart out as she fell to the ground and turned grey. He turned around to see everyone looking at him.

"What, come on it was bound to happen," he said.

"Now where is Genevieve?" He asked.

"Mr. Klaus here are the Salvatores," said a hybrid.

"Where is Genevieve," Klaus asked.

"Wait you mean she's not here?" said Damon.

"Oh so you guys were so caught up in your plan to kill me that you didn't realize she's not here," sneered Klaus.

"The last time I saw her, I dropped her off at the boarding house," said Mikael.

The originals and the Salvatores left the party and went to the boarding house to look for the redhead. They split up and ransacked the house looking for the girl when Mikael went down to the cellar and saw his daughter with a dagger in her back.

"My princess," he said in a sad tone as he pulled the dagger out as her skin color came back. He lifted her and carried her to the living room now angry.

"Why was my daughter in your cellar with a dagger in her back?" He asked angrily.

"She wasn't here when we left so she must have came back to get ready," stated Stefan as he saw her attire.

"I called Bonnie and Caroline but they said they last saw her at Caroline's house as she didn't want to help with setting up the prom decorations. They are coming over so Bonnie can do a locator spell," said Damon.

"She left because she was mad at us so why would she come back?" asked Stefan.

"To get her dress for this thing called a prom," replied Mikael.

"I asked her why she wanted to come here if she wasn't talking to you guys and that's what she told me."

"Well it seems whoever daggered Rebekah had something to do with Evie's disappearance," said Elijah as he entered the building along with his siblings. They stopped in shock as they saw Mikael.

"It's alright brother he's good," said Klaus as Elijah, Kol, and Finn looking at their father skeptically.

"Yeah not happening, please stay away from me," said Kol as he didn't trust a bone in his father's body.

"I will do whatever to gain your trust," said Mikael as he looked at his sons.

*Gasp*

Rebekah sat up in a hurry as she gasped for breath as tears ran down her face. She cried a little before saying, "I'm going to kill her."

"Woah there sweetheart you need to feed first," said Mikael as he handed her the blood bag he took from the fridge when bringing her up.

She took the bag and drank it before recognizing that it was was Mikael who gave it to her. She tried to scurry back in fear however he calmed her down and apologized for being a failure as a father.

"Now my child can you tell us who daggered you?" asked Mikael.

"Elena she came and gave me back mother's necklace and then stabbed me in the back after I asked her how I look," replied Rebekah.

Hearing it was the doppelganger Stefan and Kol ran out of the room and went for her as they brought her to the boarding house throwing her down on the ground.

"Hey what was that for?" she asked.

Mikael stood up and walked towards the human doppelganger before kneeling down in front of her.

"I was kind to you Miss Gilbert but really I hate how manipulative you doppelgangers are. I mean you could of had a normal future but you just couldn't go against your nature, so I'm going to asked kindly where is Genevieve," he asked as his vampire face came out.

" I-I don't know what your talking about," she replied nervously as her heart was beating rapidly.

He then pressed his hand down on her leg and broke it as she screamed out in pain.

" Humans have 206 bones in their body and I just broke about four in your leg," he said.

He then went to her foot and broke it as he said, "I just broke 26 so you can answer me or I go to the other leg."

"A week ago some guys came to the grill showing pictures of her and asked if anyone had seen his daughter that she's been kidnapped. I wanted to get rid of her so I planned with them and after I daggered Rebekah I knocked Genevieve out as they carried her away," she answered through pain and tears.

"Thank you for answering," he said as he broke her other leg and arms leaving her there in pain.

"Where's your witch," said Mikael.

"I'm here and I found her," said Bonnie.

"Where is she?" Stefan and Damon asked.

"Whitmore college," Bonnie answered.

"Let's go everyone," said Mikael as they all left to go get Genevieve.
