It's been a month since Genevieve has been discharged from the hospital and under the doctor's orders she been bedridden with the Salvatores stuck to her like leeches and refusing to leave her side. Bonnie and Caroline would come over after school to spend time with their best friend while the Mikaelsons too took time to spend with the red head.
Sadly Evan is still alive since Mikael thinks that he doesn't deserve to die so easily until he feels tenfold everything he made Genevieve feel throughout her eighteen years of life. Unbeknownst to her of course since they didn't want to make any bad memory surface during her recovery.
Now when they thought everything had cooled down and they can live their lives in peace, a red haired woman appeared on the Salvatore boarding house doorsteps claiming to be Genevieve's aunt but was only welcomed with a door to the face. Stefan wanted to talk to the woman but Damon didn't as he kept questioning the whereabouts of this women when Genevieve was being tortured by that man.
Enzo wanted to stay but after having beating up Damon for not only leaving him all those years and but also killing the woman he once loved. He decided to travel and see the world while keeping in contact with Genevieve who made him promise that once he returns he'll sit down with Damon and they'll talk.
As for Elena, she was at her home writing in her diary and recuperating since she suffered two broken legs, a broken arm, four broken ribs and blood loss since Mikael persuaded Klaus to still build his hybrid army but only to use wolves who were willing to become one to escape from the pain of shifting on a full moon.
They used their connection through witches who are loyal to them to pass on the message to the different packs with Tyler being the first ever successful hybrid. Jeremy didn't like feeling defenseless in case a new dangerous threat decided to come to Mystic Falls and he couldn't protect himself so Alaric and Mikael would teach him.
So far everything seemed normal and even the Mikaelson boys who at first were hesitant in getting close to their father slowly caved in as Mikael was patient with them and tried to do stuff he failed to do like teaching them their Viking roots.
Currently Mikael, the Salvatore brothers, Kol, Elijah and Genevieve were sitting face to face with Genevieve's aunt Yolanda and the people she came with.

"Don't act like you didn't deserve it," interrupted Damon.
"Please ignore him he gets very protective of Genevieve so please continue," said Mikael.
"As I was saying before I was rudely interrupted I am Genevieve's aunt Yolanda and with me is my daughter Annaylsse, my son Dylan and my adopted children Vivica, Carly and Kayla and Eric whose Dylan's best friend," she introduced.
"In total there were three girls me and my two sisters. Charlotte who was Genevieve's mother was sold to a brothel as a prostitute and we only knew of this when she appeared at my doorstep three months pregnant. She had changed from the kind person I knew to someone who craved power and so she aided her sugar daddy in destroying someone else's life and got pregnant from said person. We was casted away by her sugar daddy and told me she would threaten the child's father for money. I had tried to stop her but I hadn't heard from her until eighteen years past my younger sister Veronica heard what happened to her and the baby so we decided to get Genevieve away from there but sadly Veronica died and when we arrived at where we were supposed to met you were gone," Yolanda explained.
"Aunt Veronica sacrificed herself for me and sent me here," replied Genevieve.
"Now I want to know why are you here?"Mikael asked.
"Since Evan had disappeared and we deemed it safe I've come to take Genevieve home," she said.
"And what happens if he returns?" Mikael asked.
"He won't," she replied.
"And how do you know that? You don't even know his whereabouts for all we know he could be hiding and waiting on you to bring her back so he can attack," said Mikael.
"You don't know that," she shouted.
"Neither do you," he replied.
"Will he come for me again?" Genevieve asked now scared.
"No he won't sweetie because as your father I ensured he would never hurt you again," he said seriously as he looked at Genevieve. He then told the Salvatore brothers to take her to the grill to get something to eat as she needs some fresh air and to not be cooped up in the house all day long.
"No umm papa I'm going to school. Bonnie and Caroline are onTheir way here for me," she replied shyly.
"Are you sure your ready sweetie?" Mikael asked concerned.
"I am plus Stefan will be there for me and Bonnie is helping me with my powers plus you and Alaric are teaching me defense so I'll be okay," she said.
"Alright go get ready," he said hugging her and giving her a kiss on the forehead before she left to go upstairs.
"Can we go to their school as well mom?" Annaylsse asked.
"I don't think it's possible we don't have this planet's credentials."
"Oh that's no problem my kids can compel your admission," said Mikael.
"Compel?" Yolanda asked puzzled.
"Oh it's a think is vampires can do," Kol answered.
"Well if it won't get them in trouble them go ahead," Yolanda replied.
The kids then went to get ready for school and soon left while Yolanda stayed to persuade Mikael to allow her take Genevieve home. Vivica and Eric followed the oldest Salvatore,Elijah and Finn for a tour around town as Damon grabbed his bottle of bourbon to carry on the road.
