~THIRD PERSON POV~
After failing to make any hybrids since the pack he used all died after they transitioned, Klaus decided to go to Chicago to seek answers from a certain witch. Stefan sat beside Klaus in the car as he remembered that after Klaus gave him his blood to cure the bite from Ray he looked really sad when he said that he was the only comrade he had. Pulling up at a stop Klaus said, "Welcome back to Chicago Stefan."
"What are we doing here?" Stefan asked.
"I know how much you loved it here, bringing back memories of the good old ripper days," replied Klaus.
"Blocked out mostly, lot of blood, lot of partying all of it is a blur," Stefan replied unimpressed.
"Well what a crying shame it's the details that makes it all legendary," added Klaus.
Klaus stared at the lights in the city as the reminisced on the memory of him and his sited Rebekah meeting the notorious Ripper of Montegory in the 1920s
"Chicago was magical," said Klaus.
"Well I'll take your word for it," replied Stefan nonchalantly.
Meanwhile with the help of Genevieve, Damon was able to track down his brother.
" You two are so different," Genevieve commented as she looked at her best friend.
"Well of course I'm the handsome brother and Stefan sadly got the rest of the looks he could salvage," replied Damon as he slowly drank his burbon.
"Are you ready to go?" She asked.
"Soon, you know as my way of healing I've been giving myself space from all the Elena drama but I don't think she feels the same after hearing my confession as she somehow roped Bonnie and Caroline into her connecting with Damon plan," said Damon as he thought about how two days after his confrontation with the brunette Gilbert her friends suddenly attacked him one with a very painful aneurysm while Caroline stabbed him with a stake almost missing his heart.
"I'm sorry I couldn't save you," said Genevieve but Damon only replied with it's okay. Thanks to her advice he started to feel a lot better about not being with Elena and now they were on their way to get Stefan. Damon decided to drive while Genevieve wanted to spread her wings a little bit so she decided to fly.
It's now officially the fifth time Damon's seen her wings and he thought it was really beautiful as it matched with her gorgeous orange hair. Finally the duo set of towards Stefan.
"Looks familiar doesn't it," said Klaus and he and Stefan entered a familiar bar.
"Can't believe this place is still here," said Stefan as they walked up to the counter.
"You got to be kidding me," said the owner of the bar.
"So a hybrid and says," started Klaus only to be interrupted by Gloria.
"You may be invincible but that doesn't make you funny," she said to the original hybrid.
"I remember you," she said to Stefan.
"Yeah your Gloria," he replied to which she hummed.
"Shouldn't you be-"
"Old and dead? If I die whose going to run this place?" she asked.
"Gloria's an old and powerful witch," Klaus informed.
"I can slowly age down some herbs and spells but don't worry it'll catch up to me one day," she replied taking offense about being called old.
"Stefan why don't you go fix us up something behind the bar," said Klaus as the ripper replied with a yeah before went left leaving the two talk.
"You look ravishing by the way," Klaus suddenly say to Gloria but she said don't as she wasn't into his foolishness. The two continued to talk as Stefan poured himself a drink while he eavesdropped on the conversation between the witch and the original when he noticed a picture of him and Klaus together on the wall.
Klaus didn't tell Stefan how they knew each other and so he just went to the warehouse where he kept his family. He opened the coffin and decided to wake Rebekah as he introduced her as his sister to Stefan before compelling a guard to allow her to feed from him before taking Stefan to the apartment that he used to stay in.
Genevieve and Damon couldn't pinpoint Stefan and Klaus' location so they decided to split up as Genevieve wanted to explore the city. On her walk she saw Elena sitting at a cafe. She didn't like that after everything between her and Damon the brunette chose to follow them so she went up to her but upon reaching the table she noticed that it was not Elena as this person had better taste in the choice of her clothing and her curly hair was a dead give away.
"Are you Katherine?" she asked which shocked the vampire doppelgänger she wanted to run but something told her it was safe to be around this girl.
She told Genevieve to sit as she called the water and ordered a hot chocolate with marshmallows for the orange haired girl.
"So to what do I owe the pleasure?" asked Katherine with a smirk as she looked at the girl.
"You know your really different from how Damon described but I would first like to say I didn't like how you played with my friend's feelings. Did you even care about them?"
"If your going to lecture me save it," snapped Katherine.
"Oh I'm sorry that wasn't my intention I just wanted to know," replied Genevieve as she sipped her hot chocolate.
Releasing a breathe Katherine replied, "At the beginning I wanted to play with their feelings use them as a way to cure my boredom but later I did fell in love with both brother."
"Then why play them again each other," Genevieve asked curiously as she ate the marshmallow.
"I didn't. At first when I showed Stefan my vampire face he was scared of me but I compelled him to stay while Damon genuinely accepted me for who I am. I wanted to love Damon but something was pulling me to Stefan and at the time I couldn't do without them so while Stefan didn't know about Damon, Damon knew about Stefan and I saw he was hurt but I couldn't do anything."
"First of all that's rubbish. If you genuinely cared and you saw that Stefan was scared you should of erased his memory of your vampire face and tried to befriend first and if he truly loved you then you being a vampire wouldn't of scared him but Damon truly loved you and you treated him like shit. If you knew you could stop your feelings for Stefan then you should of let Damon go," said Genevieve.
"You speak as if you love him,"provoked Katherine.
"I like Damon a lot and I thank you for feeding them your blood because they didn't deserve to die by the hands of their father but I think it was not cool for you make him spend a century thinking a way of getting you out of the tomb when you were out here enjoying life. He wasted a century loving you and ended up getting the shot end of the stick and I don't know what caused him to fall for a girl with the same face of the person who broke his heart but I think all you doppelgängers are attention seeking women who end up hurting the men in their lives," concluded Genevieve.
"Seems like you don't like Elena," said Katherine.
"I hate what she did to Damon and what she's doing behind his brother's back. I don't like the idea of two brother go at each other over a girl. It happened with you which led to their death but I'll never let Elena repeat your mistake so goodbye Katherine," said Genevieve as she placed the empty cup on the table and walked away.
