Jamie's POV
I walk into Callie's bedroom to see Liz getting her dressed.

"Don't you look pretty." I say and Callie runs to hug my legs.

"I weady for plane!" She smiles.

"Have you packed your carry on bag, bub?" Liz asks her.

"No. You do it." Callie says.

"That's not how we ask for things, is it Callie?" I say raising my eyebrow.

"Sowy Mama." She says, running back to Liz and jumping up and down.

"It's okay, well done for apologising." Liz smiles.

"Cal, go find your backpack and we can put some toys and snacks in it." I say softly and she skips into her closet.

"How long have you been up?" I ask Liz, stepping closer to her and wrapping her in my arms.

"Since 3." She murmurs.

"Liz, why didn't you wake me up?" I ask stroking her hair.

"You looked so peaceful, Jamie. And you love your sleep." She says.

"Yeah but I love you more. Enough to have you wake me up at 3 A.M. if you can't sleep." I say.

"Thank you." She says quietly.

"Our flight isn't until 4 P.M. so why don't you go back to bed, babe?" I suggest.

"It's okay, I'm awake now. I'll sleep on the plane." She says. "I mean, I won't because I'll be having a panic attack that we're in the sky but, anyways."

"Mommy!" Callie exclaims, running out of her closet and throwing her backpack to me.
