~NOTES~
Cute but short because I'm working hard on a Christmas chapter for Found, which if you haven't read yet, go check it out! Enjoy :)

Liz's POV
Ariana is over for the day because she's doing a show in Atlanta.

"You want another drink, Ari?" Michael asks, standing up from the couch.

"Sure, thanks." Ari says, handing him her glass.

"Babe." Michael says and I pass him my glass.

"Thank you." I say.

Michael goes out to the kitchen and Ariana and I carry on with our karaoke.

"Okay, I'm tapping out here. I still need a voice for tomorrow." Ariana laughs.

We sit back down on the couch.

"Are you excited for tomorrow night?" I ask.

"Yeah. Yeah, I am." Ariana nods slowly.

"You don't sound too sure." I say, turning my body to face her.

"I mean, it's fun but performing hasn't been the same for years. Not since 2017. It's just hard, you know. I'll be out there, singing my heart out and it just hits me that history could repeat itself at any point and yeah the therapy is helpful but I can't forget it or forget those babies who died because of me." Ariana says, sniffling as a few tears roll down her cheeks.

"I'm sorry, Ari. I didn't want to make you upset." I apologise, tearing up myself.

"You're okay." Ariana smiles.

I move forward and wipe her tears before hugging her.

Michael walks in with our drinks.

"You told her?" Michael asks.

"Told who what?" Ariana asks.

"I thought we were telling it together." Michael says to me.

"We are, I haven't said anything." I tell him.

"Oh." Michael says, widening his eyes.

"Yes, oh." I glare at him.

"What? What is it? Tell me what? What are you gonna tell me? Dingus? What's the news? What you gotta tell me? Spill!" Ariana rants, climbing on top of me.

"Okay, okay." I laugh, slipping out from underneath her knees and going over to the shelf.

I pick up a white envelope with 'Ari' written on it, then walk back to the couch.

Michael nods at me.

"This is for you." I say, gripping the envelope tightly with shaky hands as I pass it to Ari.

"What's this?" Ariana asks, taking it from me.

"Why don't you open that." Michael smiles.

"You guys freak me out." Ari says, opening the envelope.

I turn to look at Michael who's standing behind the couch, looking over me.

He puts his hand on mine as we watch Ariana take out a white square of paper.

"Turn it over." I say, chewing my lip.

"No!" Ariana screams as she turns it over to reveal the ultrasound picture of Michael and I's baby.

"Yes." I nod, crying.

"I can't believe it!" Ariana cries, hugging me tightly.

"You better believe it, because you're the Godmother." Michael chuckles.

"Oh god!" Ariana screams, pulling back from me and looking at Michael. "Are you serious?"

"We are." Michael nods smiling.

"Fuck." Ariana curses, wiping her tears and hugging me again.

She pulls back and stares at my stomach.

"There isn't a bump yet, Ari." Michael laughs.

"He would know, he's been checking every night." I roll my eyes, smiling.

"I'm so happy for you both!" Ariana smiles, hugging Michael and I.

"Thank you." Michael smiles.

"So are we." I smile.
