~NOTES~ In this chapter, Liz has a 12 year old daughter named Lola with autism from a previous relationship. Liz had the girl when she was 17. Liz and Michael have been together for a month. Enjoy :)
Lola's POV I'm tidying up my bedroom.

Mom walks in.
"Hey, this all looks very clean." Mom says, looking around.
"I know." I say.
"Michael is coming over in a bit and we'll order food tonight." Mom says.
"Is he staying overnight?" I ask.
"Is it okay with you if he does?" Mom asks.
"I need to meet him first." I say.
"That's okay. You don't need to make a decision right now." Mom smiles.
"Can I show Michael my soccer tricks I was practicing yesterday?" I ask.
"I'm sure he'd like that. You can show him your gymnastics on the trampoline as well." Mom says.
"When will he get here?" I ask.
"In about half an hour." Mom says.
"About?" I ask, fidgeting with my hands.
"I'll ask him to get here for 10, and if he's early then I'll ask him to wait outside." Mom says and I laugh.
"Okay." I say.
"You should get dressed. Don't forget to brush your hair, please." Mom says, kissing my head before walking out.
I use my schedule to help me get ready.
