~NOTES~
It's Pride Month babies!! I've always included characters identifying as LGBTQIA+ because it's relevant and realistic, and it's so important for people to see themselves represented. Anyway, I have so much respect for Liz & Michael's relationship but it's fun to think about different storylines. So here I give you a Liz Gillies crisis: ✨Pride Month Edition✨

Since Michael was working late, Liz had arranged to go out for drinks with Elaine. She was sitting at the bar waiting for Elaine to join her when she got a text message.

"Great." Liz sighed sarcastically, finding out that Elaine had to look after a sick niece on short notice and that she was so sorry to cancel.

"Can I get you anything?" The bartender asked her.

"Another Cosmo, extra lime." Liz ordered, sliding twenty dollars across the bar to him. "Keep the change."

"Thank you." He smiled, setting the cocktail down in front of her. "Rough evening?"

"My friend had to cancel. This will be my last one." She explained shortly, holding up her glass in gesture.

"I see." He nodded sympathetically and walked away to serve other customers.

Scrolling mindlessly through her phone, Liz made her best effort to look busy so as not to be approached. She wasn't in the mood for socialising anymore and drinking alone seemed the best magnet for creeps.

"What's a pretty woman like you doing all alone?"

Liz rolled her eyes before turning around, slightly startled to see a woman and not a man.

"Enjoying the peace." Liz replied, hoping she would take the hint and leave.

"Mhm. How's that working out for you, beautiful?" The woman smiled, looking Liz up and down.

"Pretty good." Liz managed to get out, her mouth dry at the realisation a woman was hitting on her.

"What's your name?" She asked, leaning casually against the bar.

"Liz." Liz said quietly, struggling for anymore words.

"Would you like some company, Liz?" She asked, her smile forming a small smirk.

"Maybe if you introduce yourself first, I'll let you sit." Liz raised her eyebrows slightly on a quick sense of boldness.

"Okay, okay. I'm Alexa." She told her, taking a seat on the stool next to Liz.

"That's it?" Liz asked, unimpressed as she hoped for more details.

"Sassy." Alexa remarked playfully. "I'm 26, I'm from New York and I work in fashion. Oh, and I have a French bulldog."

"I have a French bulldog!" Liz laughed at the coincidence.

"No way! Boy or girl?" Alexa asked, watching Liz's eyes sparkle the more she thought about her dog.

"He's a boy. His name's Otis." Liz told her.

"Cute. Mine's a girl, Coco. As in, Coco Chanel." Alexa said and Liz laughed.

"They'd be a good doggy couple." Liz commented innocently, meeting Alexa's eyes as a moment of silence took over them both.

"So, what do you do for work? Model?" Alexa joked playfully, using the opportunity to check Liz out once again.

"Close. I'm an actor." Liz said seriously, completely missing the joke.

"Really? Although with your incredible looks I'm hardly surprised." Alexa complimented and Liz bit her lip nervously, unsure of what to say.
