He watched him as he slept. His breathing was normal and his long eyelashes were sealed. He looked like an angel in his sleep. He is an angel despite all the mistakes he has made. Gon knew Killua had a kind heart, a heart made out of sweets.

A little smile cracked his bloodless lips. He observed the rise and fall of his mate's chest and noted how clingy Killua was the past few hours.

He's ultimately glad that something wolfish was present in his reaction this time. Maybe Silva was right; all it matters for him to get addicted is a taste of his care and affection, especially when he's in dire need of it.

And Gon is willing to give every drop of his affection to his mate, especially now of all times.

But what can he do with his own problems? He wants just as much love from his mate. In exchange, he wants to smother him and make him feel small and protected in his embrace.

He wants to spoil him with endless happiness, to make him feel as if he's living in paradise. Alas, he knew he couldn't do that all the time, but he's dedicated to doing it whenever he can.

And there is this desire of sticking to him and becoming one with him forever.

He continued staring at his sleeping face while sitting on the wooden chair next to the bed. His wet hair stained the sheet of the pillow underneath his head and the oversized sweater engulfed his body again after the shower. The blankets covered him, but they weren't enough to stop Gon from reminiscing about the kiss.

It was smooth but fervent. Killua initiated it this time. Like, he fully initiated it.

Gon touched his lips then bit them. What should he do? He's losing it.

"Alpha?" He jerked at the sound and turned to the door where Alpin limped and stood next to him, "Came to check up on both of you."

Gon looked at Killua again and let out a sigh. "I think everything is alright."

"The way you say it is not very reassuring." Alpin sat on the bed under Killua's feet and eyed Gon. "Did something happen between you two?" He sat opposite Gon's chair, just a few spaces away.

"Well, Killua is acting weird."

"Weird how?"

Gon sucked on breath and looked at the window where voices of chatter arose. His pack members are still there, getting fed and well taken care of. However, they have to get back to their dens before the storm. "There is a storm coming." Gon said.

"I took the necessary precautions for that, Alpha. Don't worry." Gon smiled gratefully and looked at Killua again. He was sleeping without a care in the world. He seemed like nothing could wake him up at the moment.

"I've been fine with Killua not wanting any physical contact before. We made a promise that in order to let him go to school, I can bring him home whenever I want." Alpin nodded. His expression was enough for Gon to make sure that he was all ears. "But things suddenly escalated. After he visited us home on Thursday, remember?"

"When he shaved your beard?" Gon grinned at Alpin's red face.

"Yeah, and you can laugh, it's okay." Alpin waved his hand dismissively, but he did look away. "That day things… escalated for us." Gon let out a tremulous sigh. "We kissed."

Alpin didn't say anything, but Gon was sure that he heard everything, "Alpin, I… I wasn't the same afterward."

"Meaning?" Alpin asked.
