Killua looked around him. They stood in the vast grassy area. A light and chilly breeze carried a few colorful leaves, and the chatter danced tunefully and ecstatically about the last-minute event that Gon is just hosting. "They look excited." He blurted and turned to Gon to see him smiling back. His freckles stretched due to his broad grin, and his eyes sparkled under the warm light of the noon sun.
"I notified everyone that their Luna will participate in a hunting game with us. Hence why all of them are excited." He swung himself and eye-toured the crowd.
"When did you notify them?" Killua pondered and stared down at the grass that grazed his ankle boots. He doesn't remember any suitable time for Gon to leave and come back. Not to mention, Gon doesn't have a phone.
He heard him laugh, so he looked at him with a confused blink, "It's sure a matter for another time. You have a lot to know, Killua." He wrapped him with an arm and pulled him closer.
Killua's body relaxed under his touch, his mind growing fuzzy. When he got closer, the smell of delicious honey slipped into his lungs. Suddenly, Gon put his mouth closer to his ear and murmured very slowly, "Are you sure you can handle a physical activity after yesterday's workout?" The husky tone waltzed into his ear, asking his blush for a dance on his blooming cheeks.
He doesn't know why he becomes so weak around him. "I'm stronger than you think." He said, but his blush intensified when his voice was as small as a kid's. Fuck!
In response to his timidness, Gon smugly laughed. His hand squeezed Killua's shoulder and motioned for everyone's attention.
The chatter died down and the wolves gathered around to listen to their Alpha's instructions.
"Today, Luna will participate in one of our games for the very first time." Gon started. Killua sheepily tugged his sleeves down his hands and looked at the ground, intently listening to his mate's introduction. "I know all of you are already thinking of a game, but no, I'm not doing a vote. We need an easy game to start things off, A.K.A Fake hunting."
Killua patiently waited for an explanation. Gon doesn't expect him to hunt down a deer by leaping at it or biting a squirrel until it dies, right? He kept his sheepish blank smile and his stare on the ground until Gon continued his explanation.
"I want Luna to experience the joy of running in our land, so we will adjust the game from hunting prey to fake hunt each other." The wolves buzzed around in conversation. Tones of different volumes and emotions are emitted all around Killua.
He looked at them then at Gon and waited for more explanation. Gon doesn't expect him to understand the rules right? Then, suddenly, Gon murmured in his ear, "Consider this a tag game." Killua's face lit up.
"Oh, thank god. I thought we would go biting each other or something." Gon chuckled and shook his head.
"We're werewolves, Killua, not the wolves you think we are." Killua smiled sheepishly and nodded, scratching his cheek. "Unless we transform, of course."
Once the commotion died, Gon continued, "We won't alter a lot of things, though. What we will do is assign a predator and his prey for each of you. Make sure you don't hurt each other as you go. Once the predator touches the prey, the prey dies." Everyone cheered and looked around each other, "I'll be the predator of my Luna of course." Some of them chuckled, "And I will leave the choice to you into choosing your positions and with whom you wanna play. If anyone needs help, you can ask me or your Beta." Again, cheering.
