Gravity Failing

Chapter 1

Our government ruler is Omega Centauri. He won the debate by saying he'll let all the kids have no school. To be honest I think Pleiades should've won. He was the guy running against our ruler.

We have a cosmarchy. It's where one ruler rules the whole world. It's pretty harsh. The only reason I wake up in the morning and stay alive is because if we commit suicide then he will speed up Earth's rotation. Also another reason is because I get to see Bode everyday.

He's my best friend. He wakes me up every morning because I don't have any parents or family. Everyone isn't allowed to have a family. If they did the government killed them and kept the children. Since we are young and healthy he kept the kids. When this happened I was only 13. Now I'm 15. No one keeps count of their age anymore because it doesn't matter. We're all gonna die anyway. When I turn 16 all girls when they turn 16 immediately taking the job somewhere.

It's torture. Bode is 17. He was the only kid in my neighborhood. Omega Centauri forbids love. He thinks love will make kids. He doesn't want more people. He wants us to live but kind of not want someone to have a baby because we are the last generation.

No one has ever dared rebel against the government. Even if someone tried they will get executed or thrown into a black hole. Omega Centauri got the Russian space program to sponsor America. So now he has where if someone rebels he can easily send them to space and drop them in a black hole. Or onto Mercury.

Mercury is really close to hitting Earth. When the moon is out you can see Mercury. Ever since the sun got thrown off so did all the other planets. Uranus floated into another universe. Saturn hit Mars and threw it off. Those planets are both gone. Venus got hit by Earth because we plummeted into them. And now the sun is progressing each day.

Bode doesn't mind though. He loves life. He thinks we should do something about the sun and the government but I really don't feel like being thrown into a black hole. But it takes bravery and courage to rebel. And I have none of those features.
