I guy walked in or shall I say rolled in. He was in a wheelchair.
"You guys find anything you like??" He asked us. Bode spun around on his heels and went to the man and shakes his hand.
"My names Bode. Pleasure to meet you sir." He bowed and stepped back. Why was Bode acting so formal around him. What's so special about him?? Bode nudged me forward and I did the same but curtsied pretending like I had a skirt on. He chuckled a little of my gesture.
"It was very nice meeting you. My names is Hoag." He smiled and chuckled as Bode's mouth dropped.
"Sir, you led the army into defeat against the government. Your the president of rebellion." He stuttered as he started talking.
"My friend Mayall will be guarding you from any rebellious activity. I snickered.
"You mean we are having protection from rebellious activity while we're in a rebellious facility."
I laughed a little and so did Bode. Even Hoag. A girl then walked in and whispered something to Hoag and then stood by him.
"This is your body guard." I looked over at Bode and he was speechless. He must like her. I thought to myself. She was dressed in black skinny jeans with combat boots and a flannel wrapped around her waist with a red V-neck shirt. She had black gloves with holes for her fingers and a piercing on her ear. Her hair was black with a red ombré. It was a little wavy but curly at the end. I kinda liked her style. Even though she was stealing my best friend.
"Hi!" She waved at us and Bode did a little hand gesture.
"Very nice to meet yo-" right when she was about to finish her sentence another alarm went off. Hoag turned his wheelchair around and rolled straight out of there. Pleidies ran in with Triffid at his heels. Mayall turned around muttered something to them and Triffid left the room.
"Look we need to keep ya'll hidden somewhere." Mayall spoke.
"This alarm means someone is trying to get in or break in. Probably the government."
"Where do we need to go?" Bode asked.
"The security lock off is the best place to be." Pleideis replied. Bode and me followed them into a room and waited for hours until someone could give us the signal that everything is ok. After about 40 minutes I started to smell smoke.
"We have to get out of here." I alarmingly said.
"Not until someone gives us the ok." Bode told me. I got up and ran to the door. I busted it down and the whole building was.....
