Two days went by from the time she boarded her flight back to DC and what an exhausting two days those had been. She had been drilled with questions from both Fury and the United Nations regarding various reports and missions. Her desk had been filled with files due to her being out for a while. She felt like she was working two jobs. She was working two jobs. In the midst of it she managed to have dinner with dad and mom's side of the family which was the only thing that kept her going.

Brianna walked through the front door of the empty house and sighed. She hated not seeing Sam sitting on the couch or cooking dinner, but he was needed in Delacroix. She placed her bag that contained her laptop and files on the kitchen counter next to the takeout she had picked up. Just as she was about to finally eat, her phone rang. She dug her phone out of her pocket and smiled to herself when she saw Sam's name on the Caller ID.

"Hey. I just got home." Brianna answered and put it on speakerphone.

"You just got home? It's almost 11:00pm." Sam said surprised.

"Yeah. Well, would you believe it if I told you that files didn't enter and review themselves?" She asked.

Sam chuckled. "Are you watching the GRC meeting on TV?"

"No." She flipped the TV on. "I am now. Let's hope this help things."

"In New York, where the GRC is voting on the controversial Patch Act, which would move upwards of twenty million refugees back home to their countries of origin. It's coming during these difficult times of international politics." The reporter spoke.

"Hey. Hold on. Can you video chat me? Torres is calling me." Sam said.

Brianna hung up and waited for Sam to call her back. He did seconds later.

"Sorry, this took so long. Oh, hey Brianna." Torres said happily. "Anyways. Spare you the technical details, but I finally got results for the scans you asked for, and I think we're onto something. When we look back, all these pings, they're from places just before the Flag Smashers hit, clearly, they're all over Europe. Earlier today, we got one from New York. Now, I can't promise you they're not using a VPN or masking their location, but..."

"Great work, Joaquin. We'll take it from here." Sam said before ending the line with him. He looked at Brianna through his phone. "You thinking what I'm thinking?"

Brianna drew a sharp breath in. "The Flag Smashers are going to target the GRC meeting."

"Exactly. Can you get Bucky and meet me in New York? As soon as you can?" Sam asked.

"Of course. Just give me an hour. I'm going to need to get through all the checkpoints they have set up, but I'll be there." She promised him.

"Okay. Be careful. See you soon." He told her.

"You too."

Brianna let out a shaky breath after she hung up. She stared at the food in front of her, knowing she wasn't going to be able to eat, but suddenly, she didn't have an appetite. She walked into the bedroom and opened the closet where her uniform hung up. It seemed she was wearing it more now than she did when the Avengers were active. After slipped it on she walked over to Sam's safe and unlocked it. Inside were some of her arrows, her bow, a side arm and several bullets. She didn't know if she was going to need weapons, but she wanted to play it safe.

Once she had everything she thought she needed, she walked back outside and got into her car. She dialed Bucky's number as soon as she began driving.

"Miss me already?" Bucky answered.

"No. Sam needs us. There's a GRC meeting happening right now in New York. Karli and the others are going to target it. We need to stop them. Can you meet us there?" Brianna asked.
