"Come on Matt, hit me harder." Jack pushed, "I may be old but I'm not glass." He said, just as Matt threw a punch at his hand, earning a praiseworthy 'yeah!' from Jack.

You closed the door behind you, making both Matt and Jacks head turn back towards you.

"Oh there you are!" Jack said, taking off his gloves as he ducked under the ropes of the boxing ring. "Matt, get down here. I want you to meet someone."

"When I said get ready for the open house I didn't mean get a black eye." You crossed your arms, "I meant maybe sweep the place up a bit, dust, maybe even vacuum if your feeling fancy."

"Ya know, sometimes I wonder why I hired you as my assistant."

"Because I'm really good at my job and I don't require minimum wage." You shrugged.

"Good point." Jack pointed, just as Matt stopped walking next to him. "Matty, this is my assistant Y/n. She's a pain in my ass."

Your eyes moved over to Matt. He was wearing a grey shirt, along with black gym shorts. His hair was messy and sweaty from most likely hours of boxing Jack would make him do after-hours when you where gone. This was the first time you had ever met him instead of just hearing about him from Jack's stories.

"So glad you talk highly of me, Jack." You said sarcastically before putting your hand out for Matt to shake. "Nice to meet you, I've heard a lot about you." You smiled.

Matt offered a small smile as he shook your hand, "Hopefully only good things. Not just that I'm a pain in the ass."

You chuckled lightly, "Oh no, much worse." You smiled, "I'm just kidding, your this guys pride and joy." You said, nudging Jacks' shoulder.

"He would be my pride and joy if he learned how to throw a punch." Jack said, moving his head in your direction as Matt scoffed. "I mean really, you can throw a better punch then him."

"You've ever boxed before?" Matt asked, crossing his arms over his chest.

You turned your head to him. "When I was little my dad owned a gym like this too." You motioned to the building. "I worked there as a teenager. I was the lead trainer for the junior program."

"She doesn't talk herself up enough." Jack said, looking over at Matt with his hands crossed over her chest. "She's one of the best female boxers I've ever seen. She can even take me down."

You let out an embarrassed smile from the comment, "He's just saying saying that."

Matt nodded as he wore a small smirk, "Well you'll have to teach me some moves one of these days." He shrugged, "After all, according to my dad I could use some."

You laughed, "That sounds fun." You smiled, "I do have to warn you though I won't go easy on you just because your blind."

"By all means." Matt put his hands up, "I won't take any offense whenever you kick my ass."

Jack eyed Matt for a minute, watching as he spoke to you. He had 'The look'.

"You mind getting the rest of the things set up for the open house, Y/n?" Jack asked. "I gotta fill out some paperwork for the building real quick." He pointed back towards his office.

"Yeah that's fine." You stated, "I'm just gonna get my uniform on real quick." You lifted up the 'Fogwells Gym' shirt you had in your hand as you walked off into the locker rooms to change.
