A/N- Did someone say flirtatious Matt Murdock? This one is just a little fluffy flirty Matt Murdock which I absolutely love. I do have smut in my drafts but for some reason I had 3 ideas pop into my head in the middle of the night last night so this is one of them. Anywho, enjoy!

Always the bridesmaid, never the bride.

You've never been told that before, but hell you sure thought it. This past year you had attended 4 weddings, all of which you where in, playing the same role as the bridesmaid. The first two where barrable, but after that everything became repetitive.

You where asked the same questions at every bridal shower. 'Are you seeing anybody?', 'How long has it been since your last relationship?', or one of your favorites, 'It must get real lonely without someone in your life.'

So in summary, you where sick of weddings. Everything about them to you fucking sucked.

Besides the open bar, of course.

You where sitting at the bar, your feet dangling from the stool as you listened to music play around the large room. The lighting was low, besides the glow of the lights behind the bartender.

"Is this seat taken?" A voice asked from behind you.

You where exhausted, and truly done with playing nice with people for the day. "Does it look like it's taken?" You asked, taking a sip from your drink as you crossed your ankles.

The man chuckled lightly, "That's a good question."

You turned back, confused at the comment. As soon as you saw the man, your heart just about dropped.

The man wore red glasses and a white button up with a suit jacket and bow-tie on. He had his walking stick standing up next to him as he held it with his right hand as he had a sly smirk.

Of course. Of course your blind.

"Oh my.." You began apologizing as words flew from your mouth rapid fire style, "I am so incredibly sorry,  I didn't turn back so I didn't see you-"

The man just chuckled as you spoke. He shook his head, cutting you off. "You don't need to apologize, it happens more then you would think." He smiled as his voice lowered, "But really, is this seat taken?" He asked, feeling at the leather of the barstool.

You shook your head, a light smile appearing on your face. "No, it's open." You said, watching as the man sat down at the seat next to you.

"Just a beer, any kind." Matt said to the bartender as he turned his head towards the direction of you.

'Dream a little dream of me' played across the ballroom as people danced along together, while you just sipped on your drink, not giving a care in the world. You where exhausted, and truly, didn't understand how the bride was still conscience at this point with how much she had drank.

"I'm Matt." The man said "Matt Murdock." You turned your head towards him. He had his hand out as he wore a sweet smile on his face. A smile of innocence and nothing more.

"Y/n Y/L/N." You said, shaking his hand. He pulled his back momentarily, keeping his head turned in your direction as the bartender placed his drink down on the counter in front of him.

"Y/n." Matt repeated your name, nodding along. "Would I be wrong to assume your not the wedding type?"

You let out a small chuckle, "I used to like weddings before they became a reminder of how I'm still single." You brought your glass to your lips, taking a sip, then lowering it. "This is the fourth wedding I've gone to this year."
