This is Part 2 of my previous one-shot: Drunk.

Warnings: Talk of being drunk (it's literally called drunk, so you should have gotten the hint before)

How hard is it working with someone who you almost confessed your love to when they where drunk the other night?

Hard. Very hard.

Or at least in Matt's case it was.

"And then-" Matt paused, taking another sip from his glass of bourbon as his words all slurred together in a large bunch. "I told her, that any time with her is a good way to spend a Saturday night."

Foggy's face grew sour as he took a sip from his drink. "Yikes man." He put his glass down, "You practically just told her you love her." He said sarcastically. "I mean really Matt its not that bad. All you said is that you enjoy spending time with a friend." Foggy shrugged.

"It wasn't like that though. The way I said it made it sound flirty and when it came out she just gave me this serious sigh like she didn't know what to do with the comment." Matt said panicked by even the thought of the previous night.

"She was drunk, and she didn't bring it up today at work." Foggy said, trying to ease the tension on Matt. "She probably doesn't even remember you saying that."

-++++++-

"He told me any time with me is a good way to spend a Saturday night." You said, your legs curled up on the side of you as you sat in the corner of Claire and Luke's couch.

"Oh God." Claire said, just as the sound of the blender stopped from the kitchen. "Maybe he just meant it as a friend." She shrugged.

"He got all dismayed and weird after he said that. It was like the look I gave him just scared him off." You placed your hand on the side of your head as you leaned your elbow against the back cushion of the couch.

"I mean he can't see so I don't really think the look scared him off." Claire said, making the tension in your stomach somewhat ease up. "He probably just didn't want you taking it the wrong way."

"True." You shrugged, just as Luke walked into the room with a tray with two margarita glasses resting on top. "Luke I need some of your wise wisdom."

Luke chuckled as he placed the tray down on the coffee table in front of the couch. "A boy got your heart in a knot?" He asked sarcastically as he plopped down into an armchair behind him.

"Haha hilarious." You said blandly, "If a guy says to a girl that any time spent with them is a good way to spend a Saturday night, what does that mean?"

"That he wants to either fuck you or get married to you." He shrugged, "Possibly both."

"Luke." Claire scolded, surprised by the forwardness of the man.

"What?" Luke questioned, turning his head to Claire. "I said I like spending time with you when we first met, now look at us." He motioned to the pair, making Claire roll her eyes.

"But then, here's the tricky part." You pointed your finger, "What if he friend zones you right after?"

"How did this 'said guy' friend zone you?" Luke asked, placing his elbows on his knees as he leaned forward, acting like a therapist for your boy problems.

"He said 'Cause we're friends. I like spending my time with friends. Even if they're incredibly drunk.'" You finished, "But he said it in a panicked tone, like he didn't really mean it."
