At Aimy's house,
(Thursday mid-noon).

Aimy is helping her mom out in the kitchen, while she made dinner.
Then Emer's party planned for her strolls into her mind.

She almost forgot about it; since she wasn't too sure on going before. But after Jessica warned her on the risk of not going- She changed her mind and decided to go. At least to show her face- to avoid getting on anybody's bad side or gossip list.

She could only achieve this, if her mom agreed to let her go. So, she would've to break things down to her, in a way she wouldn't get in trouble or rejected.

"Mom, I em, have something to tell you. It's been troubling me and-"

"Go on honey, I'm all ears" Allison cuts in hastily.

"Okay, here goes. There's this new student in our school who has a very rich background and is quite popular-"

"So, you like him?" her mom cuts in again

"No! I mean how are you so sure it's a he?" Aimy snaps uncomfortably

"Well, you said rich and famous. Wait! Is it a-" Allison asks freakishly

"No! Not at all mom, just let me finish" Aimy adds in frustration

"Okay dear. So, what about him?" Her mom replies curiously.

"Well, the hole school thinks I'm dating him for some weird reason." Aimy replies, trying not to go into details of her following the guy out to a secluded area in the dead of night.

"So, it is a him" Her mom interrupts again, playfully.

"Mom!"

"Okay- sorry- lip sealed." Her mom says, placing her hand to her mouth to close an imaginary zip.
"So, a-re you dating him?" Allison mumbles stylishly

"Of course not Mom. Enterprises stuffs- remember." Aimy replies questioningly

"Yah, that. I was hoping we could have a serious chat on that one of this days." Her mom replies, now wearing a concerned look.
"So, what brought about this chat, if I may ask?" her mom adds grabbing a sit opposite her, after placing a dicing board on the kitchen table.

"We-ll" Aimy drags sheepishly.
"I mean to say_" Aimy adds trying to find the perfect words

"Full sentence Aimy." Allison reminds jokingly, getting up to grab some apples, and a knife.

"Ha- sorry." Aimy says freakishly, with a giggle. Then walks over to join her mom at the other side.
"Well" Aimy adds again, collecting the apples from her mom. She picks another knife, then began dicing them on the board as she spoke.
"The hole school- again- for some weird reason. Believe the false news.
So, they're throwing a wholesome, cool, beach party just for us." Aimy adds stylishly.

"Us, that's very weird. I mean I can't remember when last I got invited to a party, but-"

"Mom, not us both. I meant for I and my fake boyfriend." Aimy interrupts, cutting off her mom's weird delusion.

"Oh- sure- of course. That makes more sense." Her mom replies feeling a little embarrassed.

"O-k-a-y. So, the party's tomorrow evening- Sixish. I was hoping you could let me go, since it's still kind of day time, and maybe with your car. Mostly." Aimy concludes stylishly.

"I felt that coming up." Her mom replies playfully. Aimy just forces in her best pleading face.
"You can go and with my car, but on one simple condition." her mom adds strikingly

"Anything" Aimy replies

"Okay then. Here goes. Make sure- to have fun." Her mom stuttered playfully.

"Really mom. Thanks." Aimy responds in excitement, jumping into her mom's arms to give her a grateful embrace.
