In class
Emer noticed Aimy walk into class, and take a sit, but was confused on why she came in alone.
“Why isn't she here with him?
I know I'm way more persuasive, and insisting, but she is a bit of a lady. She should know how to woe her friend. Even if he isn't her boyfriend. Unless..." She concludes, heading towards Aimy.
“Hey, where is he?" She asks looking around, pretending not to know he didn't step in with her.
“He's about is own business." Aimy replied continuing with her book. She raises it over her face to block off Emer.
“I guess I'm not the one afterall." She adds sitting beside her.
“And I guess the book over my face isn't a clear enough sign that I was reading." Aimy adds sarcastically, dropping the book back on the table.
“What do you want Emer?"
“The truth." Emer replies soberly.
“You wanna know the truth?” Aimy asks confusingly
“Yah, yah I do." Emer replied anxiously
“Well, you can keep trying to make me say what you want to hear, and catch it with your tiny recorders, which certainly wouldn't happen, or you could try to find out who that anonymous person is, and ask why he/she decided to coop up something this unrealistic." Aimy concluded to her surprise, then hands her the recorder she thought she had trashed.
“How did you..?"
“Surprise, are you? Well, next time you trash out a really expensive recorder, try destroying it first."
“Ugh.." Emer sighs, shut of words to speak, she returned to her sit.
“Finally." Aimy said breathing a air of relief.
“Thanks for being such a noble man, Mr G." Aimy adds smilingly returning to her reading.
That morning
While Aimy was getting ready to take off, she slams into the Garbage man on her front porch.
“I'm so sorry" Aimy let's out, wearing an apologetic look
“Its fine. I've been hit with wa-y harder doors." He replied, shaking off the pain.
“O-k-a-y"
“By the way, I- found this in yo-ur trash." He said searching for it in a bag,
“You guys seem to have dropped it in by accident, since this recorder is said to be really expensive, like muy Caro kind of expensive." He expressed weirdly, handing it to Aimy, who collects it confusingly.
“This isn't ours.." She was going to return it, but accidentally clicks play, and then the recording Emer made dropped into the atmosphere.
“He-y E-m-e-r, You here see for."
"Y-a-h."
"So, can I come in?"
"Yah, why not? I mean you didn't just try to embarrass me yesterday.."
Then she clicks pause.
“I can't believe she-" She mumbles furiously,
“Yah, thank you Mr G. It's not ours, but I might just know who own it, must've slipped out of her hands when she came visiting yesterday." Aimy concludes, trying to hold in her frustration.
“Great, see you. Don't let me keep you too long, you seemed to be in a rush to get somewhere when I got here."
“Yah– school– almost forgot." Aimy stuttered, getting back to running. “Thanks again Mr G." she adds from across the street.
