[Still in the present]
Three days to graduation...
Aimy's POV
We were all so excited about the coming graduation party.
Middleton high is well known for its grand, luxurious graduation parties.
As expected, Hayley was going pretty over board. She even made Victoria join us at the mall.
At the mall
They were going around, searching racks for good gowns to wear for their graduation.
"I can't believe you actually made me come here. I'm drained hard." Vicky complained.
"I've been doing this with her for years and yet I'm drained as well." Aimy said with a loud yarn.
"Ha ha!" Hayley says sarcastically.
Then her phone dinged.
"Sorry." She excused herself to check it.
"What is it?" Aimy asked curiously.
"Anything that concerns us?" Vicky added.
"Not really." she replied soberly, "I just got a message from Cali university, about an admission or something like that." She said calmly with a smile, trying to stay cool.
"You got an admission!" Vicky yelled excitedly.
"Not just from California university, but Gregory and UCLA. I haven't gotten any read on USC but-" Hayley was explaining, but before she could finish Vicky began jumping happily.
"For someone who doesn't really like squeal jumping, you're doing it a awful lot." Aimy comments playfully.
"I know right, I'm just so excited." She replied.
"Men, I'm so happy for you." Vicky added.
"So, which offer are you gonna accept?" She inquired.
"Well, I knew at a point this would pop up, so I kept praying over it. I said God should show me indifferently, the one he wants me to go for.
So, I took the indifferent sign as this, cause this particular one stood out.
University college of los Angeles (UCLA). They offered me a partial scholarship." She concluded joyfully.
"Wow, like how much?" Vicky asked
"6-7 thousand-" she replied.
"That's a big hand down you know." Vicky commented in awe.
"Of Course I do. I couldn't stop thanking God for the favor." Hayley replies.
"All that's left is you." Vicky said resting on Aimy.
"Sure. Congrats Hayley." Aimy said with a mild smile.
"Thanks." Hayley responds, feeling a little sorry for her.
"You'd get yours soon, don't worry.
I'm sure your's gonna be greater." She comforted.
"I don't even need it to be better, I just need it." Aimy replies sadly.
"But come on, let's not make this about me. It's gonna happen at one point if it's the Lord's will, so let's get some clothes and get out of here." Aimy said playfully.
"Of course." Hayley replies playing along.
"You got it." Vicky said also playing along.

Two weeks after graduation...
Aimy's POV
I still can't believe we're finally done with highschool, and would have to wonder off to separate destinations soon.
We're still in the same State, but different parts.
I also can't believe all that conspired within just a few days from the graduation.
I don't know how to feel about it. I keep praying to God to help me live with it, and I didn't also get into college.
