Aimy's POV
Tuesday morning, nothing much had changed.
The murmuring continued, the bullying too...
Everyone suddenly kept mute. I turned up from my face filled with spit balls to see Harry.
The demon himself- like Hayley would say. She didn't come to school today because she was coming down with a fever, and Jessica is apparently my enemy now.
(She seems so mad at me because of a fabricated news.
Still can't believe she threw away years of synthetic living for some stimulated truth. Just kidding, it's so expected.)
I couldn't really be mad at him, all this wasn't entirely his fault. All he wanted to do was save me from the crowd that day. I really don't know why I'm in hate of him for anything...
"?" "?" "?" "?" "?"
Few minutes before
Few seconds after Aimy's spit ball incident on her way to the ladies bathroom- she went to her locker to get a wipe for her face- since they wouldn't let her into the bathroom- saying it's for real people only.
She couldn't find anything tangible to wipe off the gross spitballs from her face, but paper, which didn't do much.
There was laughter everywhere as everyone mocked her. To crown it all- Emer and her friends came again to add to her sorrows by throwing more spitballs at her and calling her names.
"Let's help you with a little cleansing party saint Maria, so you'd be pure again." Patricia said blowing another spitball at Aimy. It hit her straight on the nose, causing everyone to laugh.
She tried covering her face with her bag, but Jessica ran over to snatch it.
It made Lilley feel a little guilty and uncomfortable. She was going to step out to defend Aimy, before Victoria walked over to hand her a hankie.
"Thanks." Aimy said in appreciation.
"Y'all are real jobless, you know that." Victoria lashed out in a questioning manner to their surprise.
"The only thing y'all know how to focus on is making others miserable as yourselves, especially you Jessica, I thought she was your friend." She added.
"You don't know what she did yet and you're defending her. She totally deserves every treatment she's getting." Jessica replies in a carefree manner.
"And you- the backstabbing liar- what do you deserve?" She asked furiously. "I don't know what you think she did, but I'm pretty sure it's not worth all this insult."
"It certainly isn't." Lilley finally lashed out, then they all turned to her direction.
"Especially since she didn't really do what you're all bursting her for."
"Lilley, what are you doing?" Emer whispers fearfully, placing a hand her shoulder, to stop her, but she shrugs her off.
"If there's anyone that deserves to be shamed, it's me. I set her up, I payed someone to make her the Anon." Lilley added sadly, which made them all begin murmuring.
"Wait a minute, Yo-u set me up?" Aimy asked in a teary tone.
"I'm sorry Aimy, I have nothing against you.
Emer asked me to do it to avenge Patricia's broken arm, but I feel so guilty, cause I didn't think it would amount to this.
The worst part is seeing the stupid Anon herself placing herself in a victim shoe." Lilley suddenly concludes, but they didn't really get her, but Jessica began acting strange.
"Yah, y'all heard me right. The stupid Anon is no one else but actress Jessica over here." She pointed out furiously, and they all turned to Jessica, who was now bowing her head in shame.
"How'd I know? You'd ask.
After thinking everything over, I figured the only way to properly atone for my actions was to find out who the real Anon was, and publicly expose the person.
So, I asked from the person who helped me frame Aimy as the Anon, who the initial Anon was. You can imagine my surprise when he tracked the number to Jessica's residence." She concluded angrily.
"Why would you do that?" Aimy said in shock. "You, of all people. So you made the stupid rumor in the first place and played mad about it, why would you do that?" Aimy repeated in shock.
"Well, that's cause I was mad.
I thought you two w-e-r-e dating and you were trying to keep it a secret." Jessica replied sadly.
"I was just a little jealous about that. How you kept getting liked by all the guys I liked."
"But I'm not even dating Harry." Aimy defends.
"Then why did you hold hands and so on that night at Patricia's party?" She asked confusingly.
"I thought I already explained things to you. That was the first time we ever met, I didn't even know who he was then." Aimy replied frustratingly.
"Well, it was really hard to believe that. I thought you dated people secretly, and so I wanted everyone to see you for the mischievous person I thought you were.
You used to cast yourself as a beautiful, brilliant, Godly girl. I wanted them to see you were no different from us, just that you were pretending to be.
I didn't think they wouldn't believe you were dating him." She shouted crazily.
"Not everyone's dumb like you." Lilley mumbled.
"And Lilley here made it worse by making it seem you were the Anon.
But even with how bad things turned out for you, they were all still carrying you so high, it still made you popular." She added sadly again.
"Getting false attention is popularity to you? Or is it the fake friendships, continuous attacks from people, or new creative plots to expose me as a liar and a fame seeker that's the popular one?" Aimy asked sarcastically.
"Even if you saw it as something else, its still not enough excuse for you to do all this. Also since you're the mastermind behind it all." Aimy explains furiously.
"Oh, but it certainly is.
You get to live a normal life and still be so close to God. You have dreams, see visions, and so on. Everyone likes Aimy Parker because she's talented, you get all the attention from the guys even though you were a faker- that's how I felt." Jessica accuses again.
"Its the guts for me." Lilley intrudes pitifully. "How you can still open your filthy mouth to defend your actions."
"Firstly, you are no different from me. I didn't even get this far with my own plots. At least I had a reason to deliberately set her up, and it turned out as a good thing for her. I just wanted everyone to know she was a fame seeker- and a little embarrassment here and there. I wanted her to feel the pain of rejection.
She has no idea how many guys had dumped me because they liked saint Aimy better-"
"Enough!" Aimy cuts in
"How's any of that my fault. That guys just wanted to use and leave you because you're too loose." Aimy yells out im frustration, then Jessica raised a hand to slap her, but someone stopped her from going any further.

So, Jessie's the Anon.
Were y'all shocked?
I hope you enjoyed the chapter.
Enjoy your Sunday, hopefully in the next episodes we'd find out who held up the chaos.
It's between Vicky, Lilley, and Emer, or neither.
Who knows, I wouldn't squeal. 😋
See you next week Sunday, by God's grace.
