"Woah. That went by fast." Singhal ni Ilyanna noong dumaan sa harapan namin ang isang pinsan namin na nakasakay ng kabayo.

My guy cousins are playing Polo while the girls, including me, are bored to death. Hindi kami fan ng Polo dahil boring at masyadong satire ito para sa taste namin. Uuwi kaming magpapamilya sa probinsya by the end of this week dahil gusto raw kaming makita ni Nanay.

Nasa Manila Polo kami at nakasilong kami rito sa isang corner at may mga upuang nakahilera upang maupuan namin.

"Kuya Ranz is enjoying." Ani Ilyanna at tinuro si Kuya Ranz na masyadong competitive ang aura sa ngayon.

"Let him be. This is his time to relax and hang-out with the cousins. He has been through a lot the past few weeks." Sagot ko naman at inilapag ang shake sa outdoor table.

"We can eat lunch at Manila Pen!" Ate Steph suggested.

"I would love too!" We agreed to her suggestion since Manila Pen is just nearby. It's ten minutes away from Manila Polo.

Pinaglalaruan ko ang anak ni Ate Steph. He is so cute! Pinisil ko ang matambok niyang pisngi at nakipaglaro ng peek-a-boo sa kaniya and I am glad that he is having fun!

"Nat, ask Simon if he can join us for lunch. Para we can bond with him naman." Pang-iinis ni Ate Steph.

"I agree! Tsaka, para ma-develop na rin ang pakikisama niya sa mga cousins. I'm sure he is cool and kind! Kaya let him join us for lunch!" Peachy said in a hustling tone.

"Fine, fine. I'll contact him." Kinuha ko mula sa bag ang cellphone ko.

Peachy and Ate Steph are teasing Ilyanna about Simon's younger brother. Mukhang wala namang problema si Iya sa pang-iinis namin sa kaniya. Or is she enjoying it?

"Hey, Si. Thank God you answered the phone right away." Lumayo ako mula sa mga pinsan ko dahil paniguradong panunukso ang maabutan ko sa kanila.

"It's you who's calling, e. Of course I am going to answer the phone right away. Even though I'm in the middle of the meeting right now." Tinakpan ko ang bibig ko sa gulat noong nalamang naistorbo ko pala siya!

I can almost feel his embarassment when his phone rung in front of everyone in the meeting room! God, Natasha! I was too careless! I should've sent him a text message instead.

"But don't worry, it's not a big deal for me. Why did you call pala?" Tanong niya noong tumahimik ako.

"Oh my! I'm really sorry talaga. Dapat pala nag-send muna ako ng message to ask for permission before calling. Don't worry, it won't happen again. I learned my lesson." Dire-diretso kong sambit dahil sa sobrang guilty.

"I told you it's nothing to worry about. Now, tell me the reason why you called." He pursued me to tell him the reason.

"My cousins are asking if you could join us for lunch at Manila Pen. They want to meet you so bad and I couldn't say no to them." I said in a sweet tone.

"My meeting will be finished by 12PM. I'll see you at Manila Pen, Love." I smiled when I heared him say that.

He will join us for lunch! Masaya akong bumalik sa table namin at ibinalita sa kanila na makakasama namin si Simon sa lunch ngayon. Sobrang saya ni Ate Steph dahil makikilala niya si Simon. She said that I was too secretive back then that she doesn't know any of my suitors.
