"Filipinos are busy campaigning their own chosen candidate because of the election that will happen this May 9… Still, your boyfriend's father stirred a lot of controversies and turmoil to other Filipinos." Kuya said while we're watching the news about the Philippine Elections in our living room.

"Probably because of his surname, Kuya. He is a Marcos… The son of the known dictator in our country. Hindi na nakakagulat kung kontrobersyal nga ang pagtakbo niya bilang Presidente." Kibit balikat kong sagot.

Though Tito Bong is facing a lot of issues, controversies, and hateful comments being thrown to him and his family, he remained silent, calm, and collected. The reason why I admire him a lot.

I remember Tita Liza and I's conversation way back when I was still in the Philippines. She told me that Tito Bong is a kind, sincere, and a very down-to-earth person, to which she can't understand why the media portrays him as a cruel and hungry for power kind of person.

"I hope he will win… Mukhang lamang naman siya sa latest survey ng Pulse Asia." Ani ko kay Kuya.

"I hope he does. I am rooting for your future father-in-law." I felt my cheeks heating up after hearing him say that.

"Stop teasing me, Kuya!" Nagpipigil na tawa kong sambit.

"I am not teasing! It will happen very soon." Inirapan ko siya dahil sa sagot niya.

After teasing me for five minutes, he switched into his serious mood again. Looks like he is trying to say something but can't come up with words to say it to me.

"You're about to say something, don't you? Tell it to me, right now." Utos ko sa kaniya.

"It's a very important announcement regarding our business, Nat," I remained seated, waiting for him to continue.

"Dad is planning to rebrand our business. Nasabi niya na lumuluwag ang mga Eduardo sa atin ngayon… Tumigil na rin sila sa pagbibigay ng anumang threats sa pamilya natin… And Dad thinks it is the right time for us to start again. Now that all is safe there."

"I don't think it is one hundred percent safe there, Kuya. I can't help but overthink. Baka sinasadya nila 'to." Sagot ko naman.

The Eduardo's are powerful.

"Kuya EJ is still blaming his self for this. He told me that he feels accountable for all of these. I disagreed and told him that there are other reasons why they came up with this revenge plan to our family." Tumango ako sa sinabi niya.

"It is a big question for all of us. Diorella's father is the big boss of the Eduardo's since he is the eldest among the four siblings." I am starting to make theories.

I feel like the root of the problem started with our grandparents, knowing that our family and the Eduardo's started our own businesses at the same year, right after the World War occurred. It's probably because of that, right?

"I read from an article that Senator Eduardo is eyeing for the Vice President position next 2028 Elections." My eyes grew bigger after hearing him say that.
