It is the month of October and everyone is busy with their Christmas preparation. The owner of the coffee shop where we work instructed us to do a sketch of the design we want to put in the coffee shop. The Manager gave the task to me since she is aware of my talent in drawing and designing.

"And then we're gonna add these little candy canes in our mini Christmas tree placed on the counter! We can also put Christmas lights outside to attract more customers!" I suggested to them my idea.

"That's nice. We can also put some Christmas garlands outside the window and a wreath placed on the glass door." A co-worker also gave her suggestions.

"Let's place the Christmas lights on the tree outside our coffee shop. We can also put some hanging ornaments."

Naging madali ang trabaho namin dahil nagtutulungan at madaming naibabahaging ideya ang mga kasamahan ko. Ipinasa ko sa Manager namin ang sketch na nagawa ko. Our coffee shop's gonna look like that by the end of October.

I then continue doing what I am doing. Nakangiti kong pinapanuod ang batang babae na nakakandong sa kaniya ina. She is enjoying her cookies and hot cocoa.

"Mignonne," I glanced at Blaise who is standing right beside me.

"She is and I like her already!" Sinabihan niyang cute ang batang babae kaya um-agree ako. Mignonne means cute if you are referring to a female. And Mignon for a guy that is cute.

"You're also cute, Tash. Your name should be Mignonette, not Natasha." Inirapan ko siya dahil sa sinabi niya.

Mignonette means 'delicate' in French and is often use to as female names since it describes a small and sweet girl. I want to name my future daughter as Mignonette. It sounds unique.

I was instructed to make drinks instead since our barista took an early out to celebrate an anniversary. Everyone was busy and focused on doing their work. Being a barista is really hectic. It requires calmness, which obviously I don't have. I get quite nervous whenever a lot of orders are coming my way.

May free drink or dessert na binibigay ang may-ari ng coffee shop sa amin araw-araw. I will try Affogato once again. Affogato is a coffee-based dessert. Kumuha ako ng gelato mula sa freezer at inilagay iyon sa baso. A shot of espresso was added on top of the gelato.

"Finally!" Nag-unat ako noong nakita ko ang orasan.

It's freaking 4PM and I am a free citizen again! Tinanggal ko ang apron ko at isinabit sa loob ng locker. Kinuha ko ang bag ko at nag-retouch. Sinuot ko ang coat at nagpaalam na sa mga kasamahan.

Kauwi ng bahay, kaagad kong kinuha ang laptop ko upang magbasa ng article. Tito Bong finally filed his candidacy for President. Pinindot ko ang article na nakita upang mabasa ko ito.

The late dictator's son and former Senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. officially filed his candidacy for President in the next year's election.

Marcos filed his COC at around 11 a.m at the Harbor Garden Tent at Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila in Pasay City. He was accompanied with family member, Liza Araneta, his wife.

People are getting mixed emotions from this as #MarcosMagnanakaw is currently trending on Twitter. Some are upset about the former dictator's son eyeing for the Presidency.
