"How come?" Lucifer looked at them from above his ruby reading glasses, he gently placed his book and fountain pen down to listen politely.
"Hiding a body by burning it seems so unrealistic!"
"Excuse me?"
"The smell of burning flesh is very distinct, as I'm sure you would know, so it's too obvious! There are many better solutions to get rid of bodies like tying something heavy to their feet and dropping them in a deep body of water or leaving it in acid so it eats away at the corpse. Or the classic method everyone's heard of where you bury a massive hole straight down and put the body in, cover up most of it and then put a dead animal on top and cover the rest. That way if the cadaver dog is looking for a body and smells it they dig up the animal and think that is what it was."
Lucifer slowly took off his reading glasses, and looked at Alex with dead seriousness "I am so proud of you."
