"Hey Lucy?"
"Stop calling me that."
"Lucifer."
"Yes?" Lucifer dumped some freshly cut tomatoes into the lettuce they were making. He had complained constantly about the food Alex ate, to be fair he had valid reasons to do so. The food Alex ate consisted of things you could shove into the microwave easily so Lucifer's solution was forcing them to cook together so he could monitor what they consumed.
"What's God like?"
He froze, hands held above the salad bowl, scowling over at Alex.
"That is a stupid question."
Alex frowned in disappointment and continued washing vegetables that Lucifer had given to them.
"He can be very stuck up, in my opinion at least. He always tries to do the 'right thing' and it gets very complicated. It's not that I hate him, not in the slightest, it's just that we are naturally enemies and there is no way around that fact."
"LUCIFER!!" A mesmerizingly melodious voice called out, "I knew you loved me! I too love you, please repent and-"
"Absolutely not. Get out."
Alex looked around for the source of the voice but before they could see anything a large hand covered their eyes.
"I have a right to see them!"
"Get. Out."
"Lucy!" They whined, trying and failing to remove his hand from their face.
There was an audible gasp, "Lucy?! I want to give you a nickna-"
A loud crash echoed throughout the room, "No."
"DID YOU JUST THROW SALAD AT ME!?"
Alex gasped indignantly "My salad?!"
"Yes, so get out. Now."
Alex could practically feel his hand shaking in rage, it made them wonder why he was holding himself back.
After a moment he seemed to calm down sufficiently and removed his hand from their eyes. Immediately Alex looked around, everything was in its original state and there were no hints as to what caused the loud noise and no signs that someone else had even been here. Other than the salad splattered all over the wall.
"...I will clean." He looked sheepishly at the sink, clearly not wanting to talk about what had just happened.
Alex's shoulders curled inward and they practically shrunk in size as they pouted.
He sighed, gently petting their hair, "Let's get some nutritious food in you, then we can watch some of that ridiculous show you obsess over."
"It's not ridiculous!!"
"Yes, yes it is."
"You wanna fight!?"
"Always."
