"I hate not being a kid." Alex whined into Lucifer's stomach. They lay face down on top of him, acting quite like a blanket. Surprisingly the devil had gotten used to this bad habit of theirs by now and paid no mind to it, unbothered he simply continued reading through the paperwork his secretary had dumped upon him right as he was leaving to spend time with his contract.
Much to Lucy's frustration Alex kept groaning about age until he finally gave in, "And pray tell, why would you want to be young. Being young is equal to ignorance."
They sat up and glared at him "That is such a boomer thing of you to say. Being old means you have responsibilities and shit and..." Alex punched their fist into his chest and flopped back onto his stomach. "And I can't have fucking sleepovers!"
"Ah, I think I can recall having learned about the human tradition of sleepovers. It is where girls get together and sleep."
"Wrong." Alex scowled "Don't gender sleepovers."
"My apologies."
"And plus, you don't actually sleep at sleepovers silly!"
"Then why is it called a sleepover?"
Alex sighed dramatically, "That's one of the great mysteries of the world."
"No, it's not."
The pair of them fell silent and Alex pouted, staring fiercely at his shirt. The devil was deep into a mental debate with himself on whether he should give in or not. Eventually, of course, he folded.
"Age does not restrict you from having sleepovers, yes?"
They eyed him and nodded, still burying their face in his stomach and giving him pitiful puppy eyes.
Ah yes.
There it was.
The feeling of giving in immediately.
"...Shall we have a sleepover?"
Instantly Alex's face lit up and they bear hugged his waist "HELL YES WE SHALL!"
