Chapter 61: Time With The Family

Y/N's POV

After searching for Laura I end outside by the shed.

I go up to the door and see that's it's locked.

Y/N: Hmm.

I hear giggling coming from behind the shed so I walk behind it.

The I see Laura jump out wearing my original Spider-Man mask and a toy shield like Peggy's.

Laura: Freeze! Prepared to be annihilated by the amazing Captain-Spider.

I laugh and raise my hands.

Y/N: Alright, Captain Spider you got me.

Captain Spider is a nickname that Tony gave Laura as a mashup between mine and Peggy's superhero names.

I kneel down to her and take off the mask on her head.

I look down at the mask.

Y/N: Wow. I haven't seen this thing since your mom and I had se...

I look at Laura.

Y/N: You know what? It doesn't matter. Where'd you get this honey?

Laura: I found it.

I laugh slightly.

Y/N: Oh, really? Are you sure you weren't looking for it?

Laura: No, daddy.

Y/N: Really, so if I go into the basement, the mask will still be down there.

Laura: Yes, daddy.

I laugh and then kiss Laura on the forehead.

Y/N: You like going into the basement huh?

Laura: Yeah, daddy. I'm sorry.

Y/N: Don't be sorry.

I take the shield from her hands and then stand and pick her up.

Y/N: Daddy loves going down there too. Come on, I made lunch. And you know how mommy gets when we don't eat.

Laura: She'll throw her shield at us.

I laugh at this.

Y/N: Yes, yes she will.

I start walking with her in my arms.

Y/N: I should know. That's how we met.

Then I take Laura into the house to eat lunch.

(Two Hours Later)

After having lunch, Peggy lays Laura down for a nap.

Right now I'm in the living room sitting on the couch.

Peggy: Hey, babe.

I turn and see Peggy walking into the living room.

Y/N: Hi.

She comes over and gets on the couch with me and cuddles with me.

Peggy: Tony called.

Y/N: Oh yeah? What'd he say?

Peggy: That Morgan has been asking about Laura. She really wants to see her.

Y/N: Well in one week, she will.

Peggy: Or we could go tomorrow?

Y/N: Tomorrow works. See this is why I allow you to deal with this stuff.

Peggy: I am a natural at it.

I chuckle.

Y/N: You know, Laura may be asleep for a few hours.
