Chapter 52: Back To The Compound

Y/N's POV

After getting a call from Steve, Peggy and I met up with him, Sam and Natasha so we could get Wanda and Vision.

After saving them from two aliens, the rogue avengers and myself then head to the Avengers Compound.

(Upstate New York)

Rhodey's POV

I am currently talking to Ross as he wants to know where vision is.

Ross: Still no word from vision?

Rhodey: Satellite's lost him somewhere over Edinburgh.

Ross: On a stolen quinjet with six of the most wanted criminals.

I look up at Ross.

Rhodey: You know they're only criminals because you've chosen to call them that, right, sir?

Ross: God, Rhodes, your talent for horseshit rivals my own.

Rhodey: If it weren't for those accords, Vision would've been right here.

Ross stands up and walks over to me.

Ross: I remember your signature on those papers, Colonel.

I scoff at this.

Rhodey: That's right. And I'm pretty sure I paid for that.

Ross: You have second thoughts?

Rhodey: No. Not anymore.

Ross and I look over and see Cap, Y/N and the others walk in.

Y/N's POV

The rogue avengers and I walk into the compound and Ross and Rhodey look over at us.

Steve: Mr. Secretary.

Ross looks at Natasha.

Ross: You got some nerve. I'll give you that.

Natasha: You could use some of that right now.

Ross then looks at Steve and I.

Ross: The world is on fire. And you both think all is forgiven?

Steve: We aren't looking for forgiveness. And we're way past asking permission.

I nod.

Y/N: Earth lost its best defender. So we're here to fight. And if you wanna stand in our way, we'll fight you too.

Ross then looks back at Rhodey.

Ross: Arrest them.

Rhodey: All over it.

Rhodey then turns the hologram off.

Rhodey: Well that's a court Marshall.

Steve and I smile.

Rhodey: It's good to see you cap. You too, Spidey.

Steve: It's good to see you Rhodey.

Y/N: Rhodey.

I shake his hand.

Rhodey: Wow. You guys really look like crap. It must have been a rough couple of years.

Pietro: Well the hotels weren't exactly five star.

???: Well I think you all look great.

We all turn and see Bruce.

Y/N: Bruce.

Bruce: Yeah, I'm back.

After this we go into the main room to come up with a plan.
