Violet POV

                    I watch everyone leave and make my way to the last cell if you can call it that. I slide open the little peek hole. The lights in the cell are all out but i can hear them breathing

V: ruby? 

R: ...

V: are you okay?

                    I hear the sound of chains rattling before i see her red eyes open far back in the room

V: i know you might not be able to control it, but c-can i at least see you? please? 

                   I see a dim light and some smoke flash. They put the muzzle over their face, they can't even light up the room with some fire

V: *sigh*  I'm going to get you out. I can't quite yet but i promise... i-i'll get you out

M: I'm sure they'd like that

V: *gasp*

                I slide the peek hole shut and turn around

V: m-maxine, hello-

M: oh calm down, i won't tell anyone. It's not TOO hard to believe. You're a really sweet person... and their freind

V: *sigh*

M: I'm sure most people would be worried for you or something but... it's not my position to judge... here

                 She throws something at me and i catch it. It's a lighter

M: you can keep it if you want, i gotta go

V: thank you

M: no prob

                  She walks away and i open the peek hole again... I reach my hand thru and turn on the lighter. It makes a dim light but i can make out the shape of their silhouette. I can see their wings, tail, and horns have grown... i can also see all the chains and restraints they have ruby in. Can they even move in that?

V: oh ruby

R: ...

V: *gulp* I'm so s-sorry 

R: ...

V: i... forgive you for what you did

                   I see their silhouette move accompanied by the sound of more chain rattling... they're looking up at me

V: it w-wasn't you, i know it wasn't 

R: ...

V: I'll come back for you, i promise 

                    I pull my hand out and leave the peek hole open so they at least have some light

Barbie POV

H: hey barbs it's okay, we'll fix them

B: d-did you see the way t-they looked at me? t-they tried to hurt me, t-they would never do that-

K: and they don't WANT to... it's just the infection barbie-

B: t-they still t-tried. You s-saw them bang on the bars i-

H: wow you really do care... i haven't seen you this worked up over anyone ever

K: that's what happened when you're in love... harley can you get some hot coco?

H: got it 

K: this is hard on all of us... you just sit here and try to relax 

                    She wraps a blanket around me and hands me the tv remote. Harley puts hot coco on the table in front of me... i just thought of something

B: what about shatter?

H: what about them?

B: t-the only one who could even get close to shatter would be gemma

K: that's a good point 

B: we'd need to stabilize gemma first so she can stabilize her girlfriend

Jack POV

Fred: so lemme get this straight you want... me to join the firefighting force?

J: and me to be a cop?

Harvey: yes

Tom: that's exactly what we want

                         Me? a cop?... i couldn't, i can't... i wouldn't-

Tom: you'd have to take off the clown makeup of course-

Fred: watch it bud.

Tom: i'm sorry?

Fred: these are birthmarks jackass

J: i know that

Fred: no not you jackass-

J: oh

Tom: o-oh... sorry

Harvey: so what do you say?

Fred: give us a week to think bout it

Harvey: understood

Fred: and so i don't have to pay for the fire truck damages?

Harvey: oh no you do... but if you work for us that first couple of paychecks should handle the cost

Fred: i fucking knew it -_-

J: uh... welp let's go Fred
