I: back to pants?

M: hm? yeah, like the skirt felt cool honestly but i'm more comfy in pants and stuff

I: understandable, i prefer wearing skirts but i like wearing pants one in a while

M: yeah, it catches me off guard 

I: what do you mean by that?

M: oh, not in a bad way, more like a cool surprise is all                  

I: oh

                       I turn around as she takes off the shirt she slept in to change into a sport bra

M: yanno you can look now i don't mind

I: that's okay, i respect you... i don't need to see your body all the time to know i love you

M: ... w-what?

I: hm?

M: what did you s-say?

I: i don't need to see your body to know i love you... i'm not in love with your body, i'm in love with the person inhabiting it

                         She's making that face when she can't process something

I: *giggle* what is it? 

M: n-nothing that was just... really sweet, a lil random... but sweet

I: i wasn't trying to be

M: you can turn around now

                       I turn around as she finishes buttoning up her shirt

I: so, ready to go?

M: yeah i think so

I: and remember

M: yeah yeah no running in there... but no promises 

I: mhm

                We get in my car and i drive us to the coffee shop. We get our drinks and then drive over to the jail where we see Sam, Allie and Lexi

M: hey guys, lex where's hope?

Al: yeah lexi where's your girlfriend? 

L: i didn't want her closer to the danger... what's your excuse?

I: i won't let her near the danger alone

S: same here... in fact i'd prefer if she wasn't here but hey whatever

S: right right... sorry... i'd rather... allie wasn't in danger? 

Al: well that's better -_-

S: i'm trying 

Al: i know... max you can hold sam back right?

M: i can... try

                                         I'm sure a couple months ago i would've JUMPED at a opportunity to be near them... which just makes it awkward now. Wow that was a awkward crush now that i think about it. Like a lil kid liking a teen and the teen kinda just has to let em down slowly or something

S: no, sorry allie but if anything happens i'm putting your sister in the dirt

Al: NO- *clears throat* n-nah that's okay sam i think we should have someone in there with her that WON'T want to beat her up

I: i'll ask again, who first? I'll go-

I: why are you all of a sudden so protective? i can do it

M: oh i'm not saying you can't, i'm aware you can kick ass... it's just even i have to admit that the person in that cell is the strongest one of us

L: hey

M: sorry lexi

M: the fact we brought some of our strongest isn't gonna make this easier in fact it could make it harder, for all we know virus might be able to knock em out and we don't need that, especially with you two already being having already been hurt it could prolong your healing and no one will want... and what if virus keeps going and we lose two of out strongest, to our knowledge anyway-

S: wait, woah woah woah

L: where did that come from? 

M: what?

A: that was a lot of talking 

M: ... uh... okay?

S: i just wasn't even thinking bout my injury and you have a great point, what IF virus tries to pull something? 

A: yeah, thanks max, pretty smart

M: *whispers* wow

I: *giggle* what?

M: i just... thought everyone figured it
